Charming is the right word if you’re trying to sum this up in one word. We liked every single thing about this place. It’s quiet and private yet a very short distance to downtown. I hope to go back next summer

We loved this house. Our family of 6 stayed here and the house was just as described. Very beautiful and picturesque view of the pond, so peaceful. Our four adult kids had to work at home one of the days and it accommodated them well. Meredith was easy to communicate with. The location was just 8 minute drive from the town of Boothbay Harbor. We would definitely return if we are ever in the area again, it was wonderful.

The cottage had the BEST views of our 2 week long New England trip. The cabin was comfortable and close to Boothbay Harbor, just a short drive to town. Sitting on the porch each morning was absolute beautiful! One of us even saw an American Mink one morning after catching his breakfast! We will define stay here again when we come to New England.

My family and I had a wonderful experience! Everything about the property is charming: the floor to ceiling windows, the dock, the comfy couches, the fire pit. It has the feel of an old-fashioned summer cottage. We loved it. If you are looking for a lovely family spot with great views, a peaceful setting and just minutes from town, this is it. Shoutout to the wonderful neighbors who invited us to tour their garden and even clipped some flowers for us, and others who chatted and allowed us a tour of their painting "she-shed."

We had a wonderful stay in Boothbay! I love that we could stay on the water at the pond while also being able to see the ocean. We even saw a bald eagle for the first time across the pond! The property was clean, had everything we needed (including fishing poles) and was well stocked. I would stay here again!

What a beautiful property! My family and I stayed for a few days to enjoy Boothbay Harbor and it was the perfect spot for our getaway. My toddler loved the open floor plan and being so close to the water. It was an ideal distance to downtown without being in the hecticness of it all. Highly recommend!!

A lovely cottage on one of the prettiest ponds in Maine! Easy check-in, everything we needed and more, very well appointed (thank you for so many towels) and we were quite comfortable. Tough to leave and we will be back! What a gem!

Pondside heaven

This is a beautiful cabin right on a pond. The evening we arrived gave us a spectacular sunset. The cabin was comfortable and felt special, with lots of places to sit and enjoy coffee looking out at the pond. Kids had a great time running around. We hope to come back!

Fantastic!

The location could not be better. It's right on the pond which was beautiful and great for swimming. We were just a few minutes from harbor. The cabin is spacious with a gorgeous view and everything you need to enjoy the area. We had ages 14-80 and everyone had a lovely time!

We loved our stay on the Great Pond in Boothbay Harbour. The setting is stunning, loved sipping my morning coffee over looking the pond. We brought paddle boards with us which was so much fun as well as swimming each day. The cottage is lovely and homely. We so want to return …. Vicky

This cottage was perfect for our family and we didn't want to leave! The pond (and surrounding neighborhood) is quiet and peaceful. We happened to visit during a heat wave and were perfectly comfortable with no a/c - there were multiple fans in most closets. Over all it was just a lovely home and a perfect jumping off point for exploring the surrounding area. We hope to return!

Breath taking view

This was the perfect place for our family. It was truly the most beautiful way to wake up every morning. The cabin is just as advertised. We were a little nervous about no AC or Dishwasher but it truly did not matter. Windows open and fans in the rooms worked great! We were such a short drive from everywhere in Boithbay Harbor and enjoyed all of our time on the pond. I am looking forward to coming back some day

Wedding weekend

This home is so adorable!!! Every morning I went out to sit on the private dock to enjoy my coffee and the view. I listened to a book on tape because I didn’t want to take my eye off the view! We brought our kayak and went out multiple times a day to enjoy the pond!Boothbay is super close and an easy ride. We family and I joked that everything we wanted to do was “7 minutes” away! My brother was getting married that weekend, so we didn’t do whale watching or the other options. Some of our family did and loved it. We went out to Ocean Point that is so cool too!Meredith is lovely! She left us firewood and was so responsive. We just felt right at home!!!So many beds and very comfortable. No need for A/C and lots of fans available…our family loves fans!The view!!! I can’t say enough!Every picture is either from the view on the dock or while paddling around. So peaceful!

The property was peaceful and serene. Our kids loved fishing off the dock and caught & released some good size large mouth bass. The water was clean and great to swim in. Meredith our host was very friendly and communicative with us. Great place, great time, and great memories. We will definitely be back!We suggest visiting the nearby Botanical gardens. It’s worth it!

We can not say enough good things about this cottage!!!It is better than the pictures!The view from kitchen, dining room and living room is magical! Everything you need here to have a great family vacation!We had a sort of family reunion, lobster and steamers, full Maine Experience.We can’t wait to book again this fall!
