This property = Fantastic

Great owner! Communication was outstanding, property was perfect for a family of five. Close to the beach, close to my family in Pawleys Island! Just wonderful. Hope stay at this property again next summer.

A great wedding weekend

Birthday celebration

We had a great stay. Plenty of space for everyone. Accomodations were very spacious. No problem with parking. Kitchen fully equipped. TV in every room. Two nice bathrooms and plenty of closet space as well as drawer space. Washer and drier in property. Clean and comfy. Walk to pool,beach,fishing,tennis,and Onsite restaurant. Great breakfast bar. Very family oriented. Guard on gate and grounds very well kept. Great place and we will definitely rent again. Owner very easy to reach and very nice to speak with.

Loved it!

We have been coming to Litchfield for many years but this was our first time at Marsh Hawk. We loved the unit and Elizabeth was great to work with. The unit is clean, spacious, well maintained and well-appointed. I was pleasantly surprised to find that several of the things that I usually have to bring or go buy were provided. No complaints at all, and we would definitely return!

Let me explain why I would not rent again

We enjoyed our time, BUT the mattresses and box springs are old, or cheap, or both. You can feel springs and coils when you move, and they are noisy, too. We all lost sleep and our backs ached because of the uncomfortable beds. That should not happen! The other negative is the neighbor living above the condo. Not sure why, but between the hours of 10pm and midnight,she walks around in a scurrying fashion, very hurried. Sometimes she is starting her dryer, or washer, but the footsteps are loud as she moves quickly through her condo.You hear it it often throughout the day, and it’s a lot of busy steps, but late at night it is the most pronounced. On Wednesday night at 11:22 until 11:41, it involved her running her vacuum on the living room and kitchen hardwood floors with her moving pieces of furniture to get to certain areas. It was loud! There doesn’t seem to be an awareness of the time of day she is doing these things, nor that there are downstairs renters listening for her to be finished with her chore. Otherwise, this is a spacious condo with a well stocked kitchen and pleasant view of the marsh. It is close to Hwy 17, but the noise from the road was not obtrusive The furnishings are okay- starting to look tired and soiled but okay. Lastly we never saw in the description that the homeowner provides some beach chairs and an umbrella so we brought our own. We were glad to be together at the beach, but this was not our favorite rental.

Beach weekend

This condo was amazing! Perfect for the 6 of us with plenty of room to spread out! Nice quiet porch to read and a quick walk to the beach. Elizabeth could not have been more accommodating and was very quick responding to all of my questions. A wonderful weekend at the beach!

We enjoyed our stay and the condo was perfect for our needs. There were plenty of kitchen supplies, keurig, coffee maker, etc, plenty of linens for 6 people. The owner left a dozen cookies from a bakery for us as a little Welcome package which was a nice touch. The only little thing to mention is that there was no shampoo or conditioner as we assumed there'd be which was unexpected. The guest that slept in the full size bed said the mattress needs to be replaced. She struggled the whole weekend after sleeping in the lumpy bed one night.

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful time! The condo was very clean and comfortable. The pictures don’t do it justice! The screened in porch overlooking the marsh was lovely and enjoyed by the whole family. We will definitely be back!

LOVELY PROPERTY

Honestly, the pictures of this condo don't do it justice. It was beautifully decorated and extremely clean. We loved the screened-in porch overlooking the marsh. So serene and relaxing to sit out there and enjoy your coffee your morning coffee. Pool is great. Great beach location. Grocery store is right across the street and several restaurants nearby. Would love to come back to visit again. I've stayed in many condos in Myrtle Beach and surrounding areas and this by far was our favorite!

June vacation

This property was so peaceful and quiet! The condo was immaculate and provided a well stocked kitchen, adequate towels ,linens and space for our family! The walk to the beach was 10 min along the marsh. Lovely!!

60th Birthday Celebration!

Elizabeth was absolutely wonderful. She made our Birthday getaway weekend so special! She even had wine and goodies for us along with a Happy Birthday Banner! Check in was so easy and we were able to check in early and check out late. I can’t say enough about how clean and beautiful this property is! The marsh view was beautiful off the nice screen in porch! We chose to drive to beach each day but was only a 10min walk. All one level, very spacious and high ceilings. Just 4 steps up to front door. We loved it so much we will definitely be back for more vacation getaways! Thank you Elizabeth for a wonderful weekend!

Great Stay at Marsh Hawk

Had a wonderful stay! Really well-appointed unit that is very clean and comfortable. My husband, adult daughter and I enjoyed the space; especially love the screened-in porch! The kitchen is really well furnished for cooking. Elizabeth was a wonderful hostess and great about communicating! Really looking forward to return trips in the future!

Loved our stay!!

We could not have been happier with our stay! The pictures do not do justice to this large condo. It felt very spacious with the high ceilings.. We slept 4 adults and 3 kids comfortably. We cooked almost all meals and managed nicely with what was available in the kitchen. The marsh location was very quiet and secluded. We did rent a golf cart to get back and forth to the beach. The kids thought this was huge bonus! Litchfield by the Sea offers a lovely beachfront area with a huge deck overlooking the ocean, restrooms nearby, and several locations for the after beach rinse. All in all a great first visit to Pawleys Island. We will be back!

I have been a resident of Pawleys Island for 24 years, and lived in Myrtle Beach for 11 years before Pawleys. Have raised 3 children in the area, and am very familiar with the surroundings.

I purchased this property so that my uncle and my dad could enjoy coming to the beach to see my family and enjoy relaxing. Their home was in NC, where I grew up. They have both passed away in recent years, so I would like to offer the unit to others to enjoy.

This unit has a very open, welcoming feel to it. The decor is comfortable and family friendly. The kitchen is open and airy. Wooden blinds on the windows provide privacy. The lake with fishing and rocking chairs is just around the corner, and the marsh view gives this unit a peaceful feeling. Enjoy walking on the paths, swimming in the pool, and the beautiful SC beach. Golf carts are available from local shop (with delivery), as well as bicycles.
