The cabin was well stocked with everything you need. It was a great space for our family. The location to the dock and the boat ramp was amazing!

The cabin has everything you need, and yet can still provide a bit of a rustic cabin feel with the Aframed ceilings upstairs (plenty tall) and the wooded environment, with a gorgeous lake a short walk away.

We had a wonderful week at the MACS cabin. We were a family of 5 and we enjoyed great relaxing time in the cabin, playing games, making meals together, and watching the World Cup. We also went on a few beautiful hikes, rented kayaks and a SUP to be on the lake and ate oysters at Hama Hama. Our beds were comfy and we had plenty of space and hot water for showers! We loved our stay and highly recommend it!

The home was big enough for our whole family. The back patio provided a great space to relax and play games. Would definitely stay again!

The house was located in perfect proportion to the dock! We had gone to the lake to be on the water and it was great! The house is so well stocked with everything you could imagine it made it a great stay away from home! Just be cautious on the stairs, they are steep! Great weekend!!
Ample parking for all!
After we arrived we walked over to the dock, its about a 2-3 min walk!

The good: Kitchen was clean, well stocked with cutlery, pans, and stuff like that.The bad: dirty outdoor grill, dirty blankets in the living room smells like dog. Dirty fan in the upstairs bedroom, had to clean it before using it. Generally it felt dirty.

Thank you for the feedback — glad the kitchen served your group well. You're right that the grill and fan needed attention; we've addressed both with our cleaning team and added them to our turnover checklist. As a dog-friendly cabin we launder throws between stays, and a full washer and dryer is available to guests anytime. We're always a quick message away during a stay and happy to send our cleaner out for anything that isn't right — we'd much rather fix something on day one than read about it after checkout.

The location of the property close to the private beach is excellent. We were able to enjoy swimming every day. Due to wildfires we were not able to use the fire pit. The town of Hoodsport is a short drive away to get groceries. Plenty of sleeping space and a full kitchen was a great asset. The towels provided and other things we didn't need to pack really helped out.

We really had a lovely stay. The cabin has such a great communal space with plenty of room for the 9 of us while still providing privacy in the bedrooms and downstairs area. Our host was very easy to communicate with and everything worked well. The setting, with the gorgeous lake right outside and the little park areas was of course stunning. We had so much fun playing I'll n the water. Thanks again!

This 50 year old cabin is so cute! We were so impressed with how well stocked it was--everything you could think of! It's pet friendly with lot's of pet stuff throughout. We do not own pets and found one chair to be a little smelly--but found some Febreeze under the sink and that took care of it. The manager's communication was very prompt! There was not enough dishwasher soap and they had some overnighted to us from Amazon. Bewared, there's no air-conditioning, but fans are everywhere! We stayed in August and it wasn't too bad.

We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing I wish we would have known were how steep the stairs were. We had small children with us and couple guest that had knee and mobility issues. So knowing how steep the staircases were would have been very helpful.
