Great location, patio was great to hang out on in the nice weather. Easy, short walk to town and beach. We had 2 families of 5 there comfortably.

The host was great. The location is great and very near the beach and village area. The property is very walkable. The backyard is very comfortable. I highly recommend this property.

We had a great time and it was so nice to be so close to Capitola Village shops, restaurants and beach. The backyard area was wonderful.

It might be unfair of me to rate this property 3 out of 5 due to the reason for finding the house in it's condition. Apparently the housekeeper had a family death. We arrived on Friday evening to find all the beds unmade, 3 bags of dirty sheets and towels in the laundry room, and wet sheets in the washer..We spent hours Friday and Saturday doing laundry. Owners reimbursed us the 150 cleaning fee. Loved the house though..except for the microwave.

Doug- I am terribly sorry you had this experience on your holiday weekend:(!!!Our wonderful and meticulous housekeeper of 17 years, did have a tragedy in her family. When you alerted us, we offered to send over housekeeping, but you didn't want anybody coming over in the evening. Housekeeping returned early the next morning, and again you did not want to use their services. I would have liked to create a better experience for you; we pride ourselves in a very clean, cozy & cute beach house. I am terribly sorry that this unfortunate circumstance happened during your stay.

This was such a great spot in walking distance to the beach and village shops. There was a market/liquor store right around the corner as well. The upstairs bunk beds were great for 4 kids we traveled with. This was probably one of the most well stocked rentals I’ve stayed at. Plenty of towels and stocked kitchen. We really enjoyed our stay!

My friend and I brought our girls and friends here for their 13th bday celebration. The house is awesome. The location is just a short walk to the beach. The beds were comfortable with high end pillows and bedding. The only thing that is tricky is parking but we were always able to find a spot on the street near the house after circling a time or two. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful three day visit in the middle of January. It was so nice to be so close to all the restaurants and the beach. The home was very comfy, with all the necessities, plus a great back yard. The single drawback was the parking situation, but we were always lucky to find a spot nearby, and 80% of the time our car was right by the front door.

Fantastic location, very clean and well stocked! We had the best time on our girls trip! Our host was very responsive and a breeze to work with. We’d love to come back and stay again.

We loved our stay! The cottage is one block from the village. Lots of food choices, live music on the weekend, and shops! The beach is right there too! I was a little worried about only one (indoor) shower for the 7 of us (3 generations) but it wasn’t an issue at all. Lots of space and sitting areas. My favorite was the back patio, my MIL loved the chaise in the sunroom with the fireplace. The large sofa in the front room was cozy and fit us all. The (adult) kids loved the bunk room upstairs and were up late into the night talking and laughing. Great and quick communication with the host. I would definitely love to return!

Sweet cottage with huge outdoor space, fireplace, comfy beds and easy stroll to beach. We had a great stay!

Another great time in Capitola. Our 4th year staying at this awesome beach cottage and it did not disappoint. Our group made lasting memories in this comfortable space. They kids enjoyed the "kid zone" loft and the adults sipped coffee or wine by the cozy fire. Love the relaxing pace of beach life

A perfect place for a family gathering

Such a great location - within walking distance of the whole village, you don't need a car after arrival until you leave. The house is roomy enough for multiple sets of adults and kids and the washer/dryer make packing a breeze. The patio gives you so much extra room to hang out, it is absolutely the best.

Wonderful vacation home

What a fantastic spot!! Minutes away from the beach and the town where there are many great food spots. Ideal for our family with little children (we could walk everywhere), we're definitely coming back!
