The house is large and beautiful and the location was exactly what we were looking for. The beds in 3 of the 4 bedrooms were great. The upstairs bedroom where I think it’s a queen bed was awful. It was so loud and uncomfortable. That bed should be changed. Everything else about the house was great. We parked our cars in the long driveway and never drove again until we had to check out.

Great location. A bit loud but that was ok and that was communicated up front so that issue was no surprise. It was worth it to be able to walk to all activities. We had some difficulty cooling down the top floor but the weather was cool enough later in the day to open the windows.

Every review has covered how great the location is but I just have to stress how stunning the house itself is. CLEAN, well stocked with everything you need, a true home away from home.

This Santa Cruz house made for a dreamy beach getaway—ideal location within walking distance of the beach and pier, beautiful rooms, a well-appointed kitchen, and a great view. The owners were helpful and communicative and overall it was a lovely, easy vacation. Thank YOU!

Location, Location, Location!

What a fun place to stay for a Santa Cruz vacation. Loved 4th bedroom with 2 bunks, perfect for the kids. Loved 4 bathrooms. Walked to food and fun. We didn’t drive after we arrived, except for redwood hike at Cowell - gorgeous.

Perfect location

We absolutely loved our stay for our end of girl scout years! We loved thebhouse, the distance to everything was perfect. Truly enjoyed the house too! Perfect for people watching too! The train went by too. We could have stayed a lot longer comfortably.

Beautiful property and location

The house is wonderful and we were very comfortable and happy with our stay. We couldn’t check in on time because it was still being cleaned and we were not provided with a late checkout which doesn’t seem fair. We would definitely stay again in low season because the high season rates are out of our price range.

Big and beautiful house!!

This house is nice and big with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms! It’s beautiful, has an ocean view and is in the perfect location to the wharf, beach and boardwalk!! You can easily have two families staying here with all the bathrooms and there are two living rooms!! We will be back!!

Location was amazing. Easy to walk everywhere. House was in great shape. Very spacious for 9 of us. Kids all piled into the bunk room. It was a bit noisy overnight each night (traffic/re-supply trucks to boardwalk/seagulls!!) that it was tough to leave the windows open. Otherwise we had zero complaints.

Location location location!

This home met all our expectations and more! The location is exactly what we were looking for. We could walk out the door and had everything we could want: the beach, the pier, the boardwalk, and all the restaurants and shops we could ask for. The house was set up perfectly for our family. There are beach toys in the garage for our use, kitchen fully equipped, and the views were amazing. The beds were comfortable and plenty of seating. We could have easily had multiple families here.

Graduation

It’s was a great place for our family to come and celebrate our graduate. The proximity to the beach, boardwalk, rides and pier was perfect. We also walked to market area and had some great meals and entertainment. The Ideal Restaurant across the street was great food and fast and did a great job accommodating our group of 8. We also ordered in from the Mission Street BBQ.

Will plan future trips around this house's availability

We absolutely loved the location! The beds were comfortable. There's even a drawer full of toys and games. Everything we needed for the beach was provided. It was perfect for our little family but has TONS of room for us to bring friends next time. It's affordable and comfortable. The only thing was the dryer didn't seem to be heating fully enough to dry our laundry, but that's an easy fix!

Location, location, location

Imagine your own little island but it’s a stone’s throw from everything! We came to Santa Cruz to celebrate our son’s 16th birthday and had a blast, even with rainy days. The layout of the house is perfect for a big group and the house is stocked with everything you could need. Host is so nice and Johnny-on-the-spot with communication. Will definitely seek out this house again.

Our stay was perfect from start to finish!

We rented the house for a weekend family getaway. Cody & Grace with the management co. were amazing. They responded quickly to my emails and were very helpful & thorough with details. The house and views are beyond breathtaking. The house is beautifully designed & decorated. It's kept very clean & the beds were very comfortable. I highly recommend this home to anyone who will appreciate & take care of it so it's just as beautiful for our families next trip there!

Fabulous!

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The home was spacious and tailored for several people to all have their own space if they chose. The open kitchen allowed us to all to cook and mingle freely. We opened the doors to the balcony to see and hear all that Santa Cruz has to offer. We parked our vehicles and walked everywhere for 4 days. Thank you!!

Large, comfortable home across the street from the beach

Plenty of beds and bathrooms, and a large gathering space on each floor. It seemed strange that the lower floor had 2 large couches and the upper floor (with the kitchen) only had one (we like food). The dining table only sat 6, but we found a larger folding table in a closet and used that. Otherwise, it was a great place for a family gathering. The wharf and main beach are just across the road, which is very convenient. Noise wasn’t an issue, but we were there mid-May during the week. Highly recommended.

Sweet 16 celebration

We brought our daughter and her friends to Santa Cruz to celebrate her 16th birthday. The house was perfectly located so the girls could walk to the beach/boardwalk/wharf. The house was beautiful, clean and had great views. The kitchen table only seats 4 (on the main kitchen level) which is challenging when you have a household of 9...but we made it work! We had an absolutely lovely time and hope to return in the future!
