This place was absolutely perfect for my 50th birthday celebration with 15 of my friends! Room for everyone! Host was so accommodating and kind! Definitely recommend it!

Great space. Beware that the driveway is steep and you will scrap the bottom of your vehicle entering and exiting. Great space otherwise and amazing communication from the owner.

The property was really nice we had lots of room, the 3 full bathrooms we geat plenty of nice towels 1/2 bath down stairs was nice to have. The kitchen had all we needed to fix meals. The property is 3 stories basement with living space with futon bead couch tv bedroom king bed full bathroom master up stairs King bed large bathroom upstairs 2 bedroom 1 King bed one with 2 sets of bunk beds with where queen. Full bathrooms, and game room in the middle. Nice and cold in the home. We loved our stay, maybe 10 minutes to main highway to Pigeon Forge, ans short drive ti Gatlinburg, 5 adults and one child and our pet. Would stay at this cabin/house. Inside was beautiful and decorated. M Savage

We had a wonderful stay at The Bare Necessities this weekend! Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. There were a few small hiccups during our stay, but they were handled quickly and efficiently, which we really appreciated. The responsiveness made a big difference and showed great care from the hosts.The property itself was comfortable, well-kept, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It’s also in a great location—about an easy 25-minute drive to Dollywood and other local experiences, which made getting out and exploring super convenient.We truly enjoyed our time and felt right at home. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others looking for a great place to unwind!

Wonderful get away for a family

We planned on a party of 11 and kids and ended with a total of 18 lots of places to sleep and enjoy. Lots for all to do and peaceful.

Home was well stocked with everything. Kitchen was extremely stocked with appliances and everything one would need. Homeowner took into consideration what a family may need and provided it.

This was our first time renting a house for a family vacation, and it couldn't have been a better experience. It was the perfect place to spend quality time together and create memories we'll cherish for years.We loved relaxing around the fire pit, soaking in the hot tub, and having friendly competitions at the pool table. There were so many laughs while playing games, cooking meals, and simply enjoying each other's company. The house layout was excellent, giving everyone space to unwind while still offering great common areas to gather.The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do, from exploring Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg to hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.I also loved the décor throughout the home. As a Coca-Cola and Elvis fan, I really appreciated all the thoughtful touches.My only suggestion is regarding the trash. With a large group, the outdoor cans filled quickly. We understand the need to limit trash because of bears and wildlife, but it would have been helpful to know ahead of time that we might need to take trash to the dump if the cans became full.Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with our family. We had an amazing stay, made unforgettable memories, and would absolutely love to stay here again!

Cabin was very nice! We had no water when we arrived and the host was very quick and easy to communicate with. Problem was addressed as quickly as could be and thankfully was fixed that night!

Perfect Get Away

Very good communication including the check in process as well as answering any of our questions before and during visit. Cabin is very spacious with nice amenities!

A Family Win

Great place and location. Plenty of space for our large family . Located on a nice, quiet area outside, but convenient to, the main tourism are. Convenient to all we wanted to do. Lovely porch views. Modern cabin but rustic feel. Driveway is at an angle so need caution with low vehicles. This place was a win for our family vacation.
