All was nice except some unclean wine glasses. Decor a little worn out but not enough to complain about either. We would stay there again.

Reliable and dependable Diamond Beach property. Well equipped. Kitchen pots and pans are quite old and found some dirty pans put back up. May have been the prior resident did not properly wash. Did call first night with a few broken items. No one ever showed up or called regarding our complaints but they were minor so we went on with our vacation. This ubit cooled well which has been an issue for us in the past at this location. Pools and grounds are all superbly maintained. If youve been to Diamond Beach this is one of the main reasons we choose to stay here often.

When we arrived the hot water did not work. We messaged the host, called the host, spoke with the lobby and they never called us back or answered our messages. We had ZERO hot water the entire stay! The host to this day has not messaged us back. We also were promised an early check in and it wasn’t honored.

The condo was beautiful and the kitchen was very well stocked with cooking equipment. Everyone was very friendly. The beach is just off to the side of the resort so when you are looking off the balcony you see a parking lot and then the ocean. But this really was not an inconvenience for us. The pool area and lazy river were very nice and clean. We will definitely stay here again

I have written or reviewed multiple VRBO experiences over the years. I never expect perfection, however, to be perfectly frank, this was a disappointing experience. Prior to traveling, quite a bit of research on my part is done looking for what is specifically wanted during any stay. In this case, my intent was to stay with my daughters for a brief trip to Galveston. I wanted a good facility, good amenities, and a washer/dryer in the unit intending to pack light. Diamond Beach Resort was a very nice facility. Things broke down, in my opinion, with the property management company (RYSON). Following are the reasons for my disappointment. Our flight arrived a few hours prior to check in time. We reached out to check if a possible early check in could be arranged. We were originally told, "absolutely not", and that was understandable. We assumed the unit was not ready. We were then told for 50.00 an hour we could check in. We chose not to do this. Upon arrival (4pm) an unidentified man came to the door and shared he had a work order to repair the washing machine. He did not wear a uniform and we were not notified that there would be anyone coming. He shared that he had keys to the unit and needed to assess the appliance. I did allow him in. He spend a very short amount of time in the unit and stated there were no problems. ****I have more to say, however, this space will not allow...****

Lovely weekend away

This is such a beautiful property. Its on the water (no road between you and water), has beautiful pools with hot tubs, a lazy river, beach access, a spa, game room, and balconies overlooking the gulf. The only thing I wish we had had was the bar to be open, but we went in mid-March sooooo not an optio .The weather was still cool just like I like it. The property is in the best location right past the seawall and still so close to everything. Doordash even delivers! We loved the condo, it was beautiful.

Love the property this wasn’t out first stay and I’m sure will not be out last. We love the pool and lazy river just wish the cleaning lady did a bit of a better job the washer had a lot of mold in the ring and the last night a huge water bug / roach ran across the stove was glad we were checking out the next am. Also be sure to check what all is provided the last couple of stays we had plenty of beach towels and towels in general for the pool so I didn’t pack any and this time there was one towel per person. Again as I said we will still continue to go just a bit more picky about which unit we rent. The views are absolutely stunning.

Nicely decorated, except for all the rust peeling off the metal peacock on the balcony and littering it. Very attractive furnishings, except for the torn up and dirty rattan furniture on the balcony. Several items (blender, remote control, thermostat, door knobs with bolts too short to use, balcony door, garbage disposal, living room clock) were either broken, didn't work, or otherwise not usable. We LOVE Diamond Beach, and the view from this balcony was awesome, but won't stay in this particular unit again.

We were very disappointed with our stay at this condo. When we arrived, we were told it had been cleaned, but it clearly had not. There were dirty sheets left around, crumbs on the floors and counters, and the whole unit felt unsanitary. The refrigerator wasn’t the best — our food wouldn’t stay cold at all — and none of the apps on the TV worked, which was frustrating for our family. For the price we paid, we expected a clean and fully functional space, and this experience fell far below our expectations.
