Welcome to Sunrise on the Coast, your perfect seaside escape! This beautifully decorated condo is located on the 6th floor at Diamond Beach and comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests across 3 spacious bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms.

Open concept main living area offers stunning ocean views with wall of windows. The fully-equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing meals, with breakfast bar and all your kitchen essentials. The living room invites relaxation, offering a queen sleeper sofa, an additional loveseat, and two cozy chairs providing lots of space for enjoying a night in.

Primary suite offers a queen bed, tv and large private bathroom with double sinks and walk-in shower. Two additional bedrooms each feature a comfortable queen bed and ample space to relax. Second full-sized bathroom is conveniently equipped with a washer and dryer for your use during your stay.

Location and the grounds of the property were great! The condo was very clean and had plenty of room and had everything we needed! We really liked the lazy river! Would definitely come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! Such a great family vacation. The unit was perfectly described and stocked well. I had to contact the host a few times for various questions and they answered very prompt and pleasant. Definitely will be a return visit. Diamond beach was a great experience.

This is a great unit and very spacious! Kitchen had everything we needed and more. The only downside is you can’t access the pool or lazy river prior to your check-in at 4pm. That would be a nice option to have in the future.

Our stay was just perfect! Our condo was clean, well stocked and had a beautiful view! The facility was fun, played back with lots of amenities. Will stay here again!

The unit and property were very clean. The property manager was quickly available by email if needed. The ocean sounds view from the unit were exactly what we needed. The amenities were in great condition. Would stay here again.

We had such an amazing time! The condo was clean and comfy and you see the ocean as soon as you walk through the door. The condo building and amenities were squeaky clean and access to the beach was just steps away. Best VRBO stay we've ever had hands down! Even my husband, who loathes sand, said he can't wait to come back.

Great condo! We have stayed several times at Diamond Beach and this 2 bedroom unit is the best. Perfect location on the 6th floor with direct access to the beach. Very clean and well-kept. The unit had everything we needed for our stay. We spent our evening outside on the patio. Loved all the amenities especially the indoor pool. Will definitely be back.

Diamond Beach is by far the nicest resort in Galveston. The pool, lazy river, and hot tubs were amazing. The room was also quite nice with great views, programmable AC that worked very well, and a very comfortable bed in the master suite. The host communication was really great and we were informed of a potential maintenance window well ahead of our trip. The host even offered to compensate us if the maintenance caused a disruption to our trip. Great customer service! The only minor drawbacks for this property were the lack of basic cooking supplies like spices and cooking oil. Most homes on VRBO are well appointed with these items so this was a bit of a surprise. Also, the cookware was not in good shape and needs to be replaced since the finish on most of the pots and pans is in really bad shape. The property is very secure, which is a plus, but the requirement to get new armbands for the pool area every day was a bit annoying - especially since the pool area is access controlled with the same key fab that is needed for the elevators. Overall the positives far outweigh the minor issues. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a Galveston getaway.

Unit has a fantastic balcony view. Easy beach access. Unit was clean, no musty odors like you sometimes get at beachside properties. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels for multiple guests. We never felt cramped at all with 5 of us staying. The master bath and shower were really nice also. The overall property was very clean and well staffed. Great pools and hot tubs. A covered outdoor area with TVs, games, and gas grills was a plus also. Part of the reason we rent VRBO vs hotels is to do our own cooking. The kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans, utensils, etc. Be aware that you will need to pick up things like aluminum foil, ziplocs, food storage containers, etc if you think you will want them - no big deal. Walmart and Kroger are a quick drive back to the east. There is a Keurig machine and coffee maker, just bring your own Kcups or coffee grounds and filters (I did leave filters behind for the next person). The location is basically the last property on the seawall, and is between the highway and the Gulf. Do note that the beach is adjacent to the property past the seawall. It was a very quiet beach during our time there, certainly that might look different during peak season. We loved the location, but others might want to be in the hustle and bustle further east with more restaurants and shops walkable. We found it easy enough to drive back to that area ... at least in late April. Would stay again.

We loved this resort! We spend a whole day just staying there all day. Just wished you could pay extra for an extra parking pass and wish if you stayed in a 3 bedroom you would get 3 keys instead of just the two. We will definitely stay again!

The condo was perfect for our family of 6 to enjoy an end of the summer beach vacation. The condo was furnished with everything we needed from pots and pans, washer and dryer to even the beach towels. The view was beautiful and we enjoyed sitting on the patio watching the sun set. We come every year to the Diamond Beach Resort and look forward to next year! Hopefully we will be able to stay at this condo again!

We love the Diamond Beach Resort & have stayed several times. But some issues left us a bit unsatisfied this year. The uppermost pool area was very dirty with debris. The middle pool usually flows with waterfalls yet was several feet low & ended up being closed on Saturday due to high bacteria levels. The upper pool finally got cleaned Saturday, our 3rd day. The waterslide had been removed. The waterfall usually flowing in the lazy river wasn't turned on & many of the lounge chair areas were missing umbrellas. However, all staff here were so friendly! And overall we'd still come back.Communication was a bit of an issue. We messaged our host a couple of days before check-in, after getting an alert that the condo was not rented out in the days prior to our arrival, asking if we could check in early. We never got a response. It made it hard to plan our travel day, not knowing, yes or no. Upon arrival, staff at lobby told us our name had "early check-in ok". The clerk asked why we arrived at 4pm, normal check in time, we let her know it was never communicated to us we could come early. 2 emails from the host said check-in time is 4pm. Unit itself was clean & cute! But due to the very high humidity, all windows in the unit had foggy water condensation our entire stay, blurring our view, balcony too. Bummer we couldn't enjoy the view more. We tried wiping everyday inside & outside & it didnt help. Pool towels were provided by host. Both Keurig & coffee pot in kitchen.

We are sorry to hear this. We apologize for communication. We sent a reply to your email that the check-in time was 4pm. I am not sure why you were told otherwise by the front desk. Regarding the pool and amenities, the resort staff was working dilgently to clean up the pool area as a tropical system had come through the day prior to your arrival. They were working over the next two days to clean the pool area, ensure the water was at the correct levels and put back all the furniture they had brought in from the wind. Also, the water slide was removed from the property by the HOA 2 years ago and had been out of operation a year prior to the closure. We have removed that amenity from the listing so I am sorry you were not aware. We hope you will return to Diamond Beach and enjoy all the amenities they provide.
