Close to family and friends. A little disappointed with the lake. The king size bed was extremely comfortable. And we loved the hot tub! All in all it was a good stay.

This place was clean and everything you expected. True to description. Host where attentive. We didn’t spend too much time at the house because we stayed the area for a week of training but it worked out perfectly. Close to Waterbury where we needed to travel everyday.

Beautiful house in a quiet location. The owners were extremely prompt with all communication. Everything was exactly as described, they even had printouts around the house on how to operate different things. We would definitely stay there again!

We had a great experience here. We loved sitting by the fire, soaking in the hot tub and playing pool and other games provided. The house was very nice and comfortable. Thank you.

Comfortable, clean, and great hosts. Kitchen could use a few mixing bowls baking and sheet pans, otherwise everything was wonderful.

This property was a hidden gem! While it wasn’t directly on the lake, the views from the master bedroom were beautiful. The neighborhood was nice and even had a little park just up the street that our daughter enjoyed. The house was exactly as described. Spotless, fully stocked with everything you needed and then some.Yoka and Val were wonderful hosts. We had great communication throughout our stay. We had such a lovely time that we decided to extend our stay! We highly recommend this lake house and can’t wait to come back again. Thank you for the accommodations, flexibility and most of all your kindness. It was a great trip with lots of memories made.

Really cute house and well kept, clean.We had a great time and the host was responsive throughout our stay. The only thing to note, is that we kinda thought that the house was right on the lake. It's not. It's across the street from the lake and access is only available 1-2 min walk down the road through a neighborhood lake access. You don't really have lake views except through the window of the house.

My family of 3 stayed for our vacation this year. We chose the property for it's location near Lake Compounce and also the reasonable price. The home was in a quiet area but had plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, and fun activities nearby. We loved relaxing in the hot tub, that was well kept, and sitting by the gas fire pit in the backyard. The lake across the street was a beautiful view from the master bedroom, but we weren't really able to enjoy it because there were tons of bees in the sand of the small beach nearby. We had a rainy day during our week, but, with multiple tvs and a small game table, we were still able to entertain our 5 year old. Overall, we had a fantastic week and would definitely stay again. If you need a place in the Bristol area, Yoka and Val's place is a must!!

This rental was excellent. I was between houses and needed somewhere for my family to stay for a week and this was so relaxing to come home to each day. They had everything we needed. The view of the lake was very pretty. My daughter enjoyed the park with beach access down the road. The hot tub a valuable necessity while we were all worn out from moving. I would 100% go back again.
