With a large king bedroom and a queen bedroom, this cabin offers a cozy escape for guests. Large bathroom with double sink and walk-in shower. Enjoy sunsets by the fire pit looking down on the beautiful valley below. Amenities like central heat and AC, a gas log fireplace, electric fireplace in the master, large back deck, with full kitchen and laundry. We love the cabin! Its so cozy and thoughtfully appointed, it felt a bit like visiting a favorite relative who's just stepped out. Great decor, amazing views!It felt very safe and private. Definitely recommend and would stay again. Thanks for the great stay!

The cabin was clean and well stocked with anything you would need. Easy to access and near both DeSoto State Park and Cloudland Canyon. The views are super and the host/owner is very helpful. 10/10 Super place to stay!

Bear brow is the BEST rental. The amenities, decorating and views are amazing. I did not want to leave, it is so quiet and peaceful.

Our host, Michael provided detailed check-in instructions. The cabin was well stocked if you plan to cook, k-cups available to get started, and spices available! The cabin was very clean and comfortable. We even enjoyed a fire in the firepit with the wood provided by our host; beautiful evening and wonderful view.I highly recommend this property and would stay again in the future! Thank you Michael for being an excellent host and allowing us to enjoy your paradise in the mountains!Cindy & John

The house was perfect and very well stocked with everything we needed. It smelled clean, and the floors were spotless. You can tell that care was taken when choosing everything from the ceiling fans, mattress, and towels, and kitchen supplies. Extra touches like a removable shower head and supplied shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were appreciated. The view of the brow was what made us choose this location. It did not disappoint! Quiet, calm, peaceful…..exactly what we needed!

If you are looking for a beautiful place to relax, near town but still feels secluded, a fire pit to sit by and enjoy the sunset overlooking the valley below, this is the place. Absolutely perfect. We were looking for a relaxing getaway and that is exactly what we got. The host has a guide on the coffee table that has all of the information on things to do, restaurants, and local sights. The cabin was cozy & comfortable, everything you could need is there, and most of all - very clean! The host is easily accessible and responsive if needed during the trip. We are already planning another trip to stay in the same cabin in the winter or spring. I highly recommend staying at Bear Brow!!

If you are tired of politics and depressing news, this is where you can escape from all the noise of society. No wild politicians, only wildlife. Peace and quiet. It is a lovely home with all the accoutrements one needs and gorgeous views. One of the highlights you will experience is sitting on the precipice of the ridge in adirondack chairs, with a fire burning in the fire pit, overlooking the valley and watching the sunset. Nearby you should visit Cloudland State Park, DeSoto Falls, and Little River Canyon National Preserve, in particular the Visitor Center ( an extension of Jacksonville State University ) and the Canyon Rim Dive. 2025 vacation

Our daughter had a school assignment to plan a vacation and we decided to actually put all of her hard work to use. So we lived out her planned vacation. Loved the cabin and the area.

This place is heavenly and we didn't want to leave! The owners thought of everything we could need, from charger ports in every room to quality dishes and beautiful decor. The television is large with all the usual streaming channels. Comfortable reclining sofa and comfortable chairs. It's just a beautiful place and the view would never get old! I will be back for my next Mentone trip.

It rained the majority of our stay so we didnt get as much outdoor time as I had hoped - but that's Alabama weather! All the more reason we really appreciated how warm and inviting the cabin was. I cooked several meals - everything was there that I needed. Also, plenty of hot water, towels, etc. Bed was very comfortable. We ventured a few times into Mentone (just 4 miles) and explored a few of the indoor art venues. Great pizza at Mentone Market! I will definitely stay here again!

Absolutely AMAZING!!

I’ve stayed at quite a few VRBO’s and this one had so many extra little touches! The cabin was so clean and well decorated and just plane comfortable!!! The view was amazing!!! The host was VERY responsive! And the little extras like a snack basket, toothbrushes (even though we didn’t need them), and extra towels were just above and beyond what we expected!!! Also the location was perfect (Mentone one way and Little River Canyon the other) We throughly enjoyed our stay!! I highly recommend this cabin!!

Home was exception. Well stocked. We’ve stayed in Mentone for 20 years best house so far. Host was very helpful and kind. We will be back!!!
