This is just a gorgeous property. From the garden oasis to the fabulous woodwork in the studio. There are so many thoughtful extras that made our stay very easy. The hosts are very pleasant people and we enjoyed hearing about their work on this property and the entire neighborhood. We would highly recommend and hope to stay again.

Great property! The hosts were very welcoming upon arrival and gave us a quick tour of the property. The space is well-appointed, with a cozy, peaceful feel and lots of little extras we didn’t anticipate(K-cups, snacks, water, etc.). It was just the right size for my wife and I. We also appreciated the private parking and secure exterior entrance. A short walk to downtown Deland made it easy to grab drinks and dinner. We look forward to staying again when in town visiting family. Highly recommend!

Friendly hosts and unique property. This property was designed with a distinct taste and style, and it is not for everyone. The location was perfect to go to blue springs state park and be there first thing in the morning without a long drive, which was great for the purpose of our visit. The property was clean and the space was well kept.

Michael and Shasta were fantastic hosts, the place looks like an oasis.Our studio was amazing, very high end , all you could ever want for so city and very comfortable.It is in easy walking distance to town and all restaurants, we had a great time.

Such a unique property! My friend and I were very comfortable and found it even better in person than the already enticing photos. The pool was magical! Welcoming and interesting hosts added to the uniqueness. The location was a perfect place to explore downtown DeLand by foot.

The host were wonderful and this is a hidden gem in Deland. Michael and Shasta have created a very nice place very clean the property is beautiful. You will not go wrong with booking for a getaway.

The property is like a sanctuary. We felt like we were on a tropical island. The rooms are perfectly curated with architectural salvage and art. The owners are so kind and thoughtful that you feel like you are staying with family. A two block walk to the cute downtown with so many shops and restaurants. A mile to the Stetson campus. It was a perfect visit!

This was a perfect little hideaway. You feel like you have been whisked away to another country and you are in a tropical paradise. Pet friendly. Great hosts with an incredible story.

This was a gorgeous stay in the most perfect location. My family of 4 (2 kids and 2 adults) enjoyed this cozy little spot so much. Not only were we just a block or two away from downtown with so many cute shops and restaurants, we were smack in the middle of two springs! We had booked the stay for Blue Springs State Park which was only 15 minutes south of here. Upon arrival Shasta informed us how we were also only 15 minutes away from De Leon Springs going north! Honestly the best location. The natural pool was super relaxing. I do think when we were there it was super sunny and a nightly rain so maybe a bit more algae then regular but it was still clear water and everyone had a blast. The studio itself was clean and fresh. It had so many cute and unique features! Walking into the gate though is like walking into a tucked away oasis you wouldn't have even known existed so close to a bustling downtown! The hosts Michael and Shasta were so kind and accommodating as well. 10/10 we will be making it a point to stay here again since I fell in love with Blue Springs State Park!

Despite our late night arrival we still were able to meet the lovely host, hear the story of how her husbands architecture career lead to the inception of this beautiful place and also received a detailed tour. I got some beautiful photos though I intended to return in more temperate weather for a swim!! Thanks for your attention to detail and hospitality

Unique and Eclectic Retreat

Our stay at this retreat was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Michael and Shasta, some of the most unique, accommodating, and interesting hosts we've ever encountered. Their warmth, hospitality, and wealth of history made our experience even more memorable. They shared fascinating stories about the property and the area, which added a special layer to our stay.The retreat itself is an unexpected oasis in the middle of Deland. The natural swimming pool made it feel like a hidden paradise. We felt so at peace here, surrounded by the atmosphere that the hosts have cultivated.A short walk from downtown Deland, we enjoyed exploring Artisan Alley on a Friday night, where the local art scene and charm of the area completely won us over. Stunning Oasis! You step through those doors and enter another world. The pictures don’t do it justice! If you’re traveling to Deland this place is a must! If you just want to get away and try a new town Casa Cascada and Deland is your place! The owners are amazing and so welcoming! I highly highly recommend!!
