Great house, location, and host! Perfectly met our needs and we really enjoyed the fact that we were able to walk to the beach & area attractions/restaurants. Lots of things to do in the area and in surrounding areas.

Stayed here with my husband, daughter and yorkie puppy. The home was wonderful and clean. Got to speak to the host a couple of times and she was super nice! We will definitely be booking again when we are in the area.

Loved the location and the condo itself. A little far to lug stuff to the beach everyday when walking though-I’d say that’s the only drawback for us! Otthwise, great neighborhood and very quiet street

Absolutely beautiful view on the lake, and Shelia was a great host! Comfortable beds and sofa, plenty of space, and love the decorations and dedication to Carolina Beach's history (the island is changing so much). The house feels like home, and we look forward to visiting again in the future.

Great place!

Our hostess was so nice and knows all the great places to eat! The house is close to beach access and the kitchen is easy to cook in! We were comfortable and had a great stay.

My wife, English Mastiff and I decided on a weekend away and could not have been more pleased with the property. Great location, blocks from the boardwalk, bars and restaurants, the vast majority of which had outdoor seating and were dog friendly. Had a number of touch points with the host Shelia, both live and electonically, so communication was great as well.Highly recommend a visit!

Great vacation

The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Enjoyed the evenings on the back deck overlooking the lake. Check in was easy and the owner was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend this place for a getaway.

Perfect little property

Walking distance to the beach, boardwalk and restaurants. We stayed for a few days during UNC Wilmington orientation and it was an easy drive to campus. Love the area!

We loved our stay here! It had a great view of the Thursday night fireworks and we loved sitting on the porch, enjoying the breeze. It was close to the new playground and Farmer's Market, as well as Squigleys and the beach. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen/living area was a great place to hang out. The host was also very responsive and kind. Would definitely stay here again!

Beach Lake

Sheila the owner is a wonderful person very nice . The stay was great, our view was great. I hate that it rained on our last night there, only thing my mother-in-law didn't like was the stairs. Would definitely stay there again!!

Great location! Cute spot

We had a great stay at this condo! It was so nice that it was pet friendly! We had everything we needed and were able to walk to the bars/restaurants. The place was clean and though we did not cook, it seemed well stocked. would definitely recommend

We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean and cozy and Shelia was great. Loved that we could walk from the house to restaurants, the beach, the boardwalk and to get ice cream. Our dog enjoyed our morning and evening walks around the lake. We were also a short drive from Fort Fisher (there’s a nice beach there) and the NC Aquarium and about 25 - 35 minutes from Wilmington and Wrightsville beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Beach fun

We had the best time, the location is amazing everything is within walking distance. We enjoyed coffee on the porch with a great view of the fountains on the lake, so peaceful and relaxing. Sheila is the absolute best hostess, responds quickly and will take care of every concern you may have. One of the kiddos left behind her special stuffy (wade) and Sheila sent it to her We will definitely be booking again in the near future.

We had a wonderful mini vaca here! Check in was a breeze and the host is very friendly and accommodating. She responds right away and really went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. The view is very beautiful and location is perfect! I really enjoyed the arts and crafts market on Saturday at the lake too.

We loved the location and Shelia was very friendly! Sheila and her son live in the other side of this duplex type condo/building. We were a little disappointed because the listing did not detail that the outdoor main porch and bottom yard area are shared with the host and family. They were never on the main porch but were often out in the connecting yard area in the evenings and at night. We chose not to go out because we aren’t very social and were expecting private outdoor space based on the listing.The main keypad is also not fully functional due to weathering of the door so we were initially told to just leave it unlocked but I did end up asking for a key and was given one the same day, so no big deal. I do think the key should automatically be given to guests on arrival instead of having to ask.
