This is a duplex, so if one side is booked the other side may be available. The calendar won't show that. Please send me an INQUIRY (not a booking request) to see if your dates are available. Nestled only 1 mile from the Shoshone National Forest and 25 miles from the east gate to Yellowstone, this unique cabin is a perfect location for people traveling to Yellowstone National Park. 300 square foot studio style cabin. This cabin has 1 queen bed and also a kitchen. Sleeps 2-4 people. The views from the patio of the mountains and wildlife are breathtaking! So much hiking, fishing, and sightseeing just out the door or close by.

Great Location

This cabin is cute, clean and the owners are extremely nice and helpful. It is a great place to stay if you’re visiting Cody and Yellowstone. Easy access, good roads, and e had the perfect stay!

As a family, we were more than happy with the accommodations from the Mountain View Resort. We would absolutely recommend their cabins and would definitely stay again!!

Beautiful, peaceful, quiet

A lovely cabin, tucked away in the wilderness, it was a wonderful place to spend Christmas. Nothing fancy, but it was quite comfortable. We basically had everything that we needed. The host was very responsive, including by SMS, and he even speedily hand delivered coffee when we arrived and realized that there was no coffee available (unless we planned to drive 30 minutes to town!). It was a great experience, and we plan to visit again in the future!

Great place near Cody and Yellowstone.

This is the second time I stayed here this year. The cabins are very clean and comfortable. Location can't be best if you want to visit Cody and East Yellowstone. I would stay here next time I visit the area.

Exploring Yellowstone and Cody Wyoming

Our son lives in Wyoming, so we went to visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were upgraded to a larger suite which we appreciated . The property mangers made sure we were able to have wood for a small fire and there was plenty of propane form the grill that was provided for our use. The coffee shop was nice . We hope to visit again next year.

Great location for doing things in the park and Cody. Saved lots of drive time. Erin and Brad were wonderful and accommodating (also Brad makes the best onion rings!) Would definitely stay here again.

The area is very pretty with plenty of wildlife. Property Managers were extremely nice and responsive to our requests. Location is good and the area is very pretty. The cabin was very clean and recently had an upgrade. I would stay here again.

We'd Do it All Again

Charming stopover on the way to Yellowstone. Communication from the property owners was exceptional! The location between Cody proper and the east entrance of Yellowstone was perfect for our purpose. The surrounding views from the cabin are awe striking. We would definitely book again.

Perfect location

It was exactly what we wanted. A place to sleep and shower. Its right in between YNP and Cody. We were spending 12+ hours a day in Yellowstone so it didnt need to be fancy.

half way between Cody, WY and Yellowstone. Allowed us to visit both. Enjoyed time in both locations. 25 miles to each so you need to plan carefully for food and gas.

Great stay

Cozy duplex cabin- just right for 2 people. Nice views from cabin. Comfy bed. Close to highway yet private. Road noise not an issue. Covered porch which was great as it has been a rainy spring. Everyone very accommodating but do bring your hairdryer (if you need one)

Not what I expected.

Very difficult time finding correct cabin. Way too close to the highway. Heard the cars all night long going by. The view behind us was basically an RV park. View out front was great except for the highway being right there.

Great Cabin, Amazing Views

First off, we reserved a different cabin, but the morning of, the host contacted us and told us that the cabin we reserved was still going through remodeling, so they upgraded us with no extra cost. Everything in the cabin was neat and clean. Never once did I have to contact the host because there was something wrong. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans to cook whatever you would want. The views from the cabin was amazing! We also saw plenty of deer on the property and also a coyote. If we ever travel back to this area, we will be staying here.

Beautiful location

The cabin we stayed in is part of a duplex, which is fine, but I feel it should be advertised that it's part of a campground and it's right in front, just off the highway. I wasn't given entry instructions so I wasn't sure which cabin I booked. We picked one and the door was open so we assumed it was the correct one. I still don't know, as the other remained empty. I attempted to message and email the owner but didn't hear back until hours later. Overall it was a good experience and I would stay there again now that I know what to expect. If you're looking for a quiet secluded place, this isn't it. But, if you're looking for a beautiful location close to the park and other experiences, it has all the amenities you need.

L We knew before we booked about pet hair issues and extra charges so we took two small dogs about 9 lbs and 12 lbs. we also took our own bed linens a love seat cover so we would not have issues About pet hair be sure you understand your 23 miles to Cody to stock up eating places iffy any where around huge Walmart in Cody to stock up on. Some of the most scenic roadway along shashonie river y’all will ever see going to Yellowstone about 26 miles away. Cody to Yellowstone 78 milestone. We
