The cottage was the perfect layout and location for our family to get together and spend a week enjoying Keuka Lake. One of our favorite features was a large screened in room with a dining table, allowed family dinners to feel “outside” without the bugs!

Beautiful lakefront views, room for family and so nice to be able to bring our pups. I didn't notice in the listing that the upstairs bedrooms didn't have indoor access to the bathroom. Not a deal breaker, I just didn't expect it.

Loved the host and property! Lots of supplies available. Only suggestion is to add not handicap accessible due to stairs. It was a lovely cottage weekend!

Relaxing and fun

This lake property was easy to find and had everything you need. The owners were very nice and we would stay again. I have all adult children and it was a great place to meet up and spend some time together. I think the property is ready for some new outdoor chairs, but other than that it was great!

Cute lake front property

Loved the lake view and sunsets. The patio was airy and perfect for eating dinner. Kids loved it and wished it was summer to go kayaking or swimming…Next time. Great location, neighbors were friendly and pets are welcomed! Host was great and timely with communication. Highly recommend.

Autumn getaway

My family (pups included!) had a wonderful time regardless of the cold & rainy weather. It was nice to getaway from the every day hustle & bustle and just truly relax. The house was clean and cozy, the kitchen was everything that we needed. It was a general consensus that the mattresses could use some replacing, other than that we had a great time and will hopefully be back during warmer seasons!

Wonderful!

We had a great time here. The views are beautiful. It's hard to find a property like this with a level yard from the house out to the water. Our dog had room to run and was very content. The shade from the trees was perfect when you needed a break from the sun. Our kids could easily walk right into the water to take the kayaks out. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The screened in porch was a great spot too.

Keuka Lake

The setting of this cottage is so lovely. You are surrounded by beautiful gardens from neighbors’ properties. Neighbors were absolutely lovely. The cottage was well equipped and clean. Linens were provided and there was more than ample supply of towels, blankets, etc. The owners live close by and responded to any questions we had immediately.Lots of amenities, too! Two kayaks, pool noodles, life jackets, fishing poles, and an amazing large dock the whole family can enjoy and fish from! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

Location, location, location! Great views, lawn, and dock for swimming, sitting, and docking boats. Great screened in porch with large table and chairs, really comfortable to eat and play games at. Bedrooms upstairs need to use outdoor stairs to access the cottage and bathroom, good for teens and young adults. large bathroom with lots of space and nice shelving for lots of items. Owners are just up the hill if anything is needed.We rented a boat from Jake's Livery and boated all around the lake, great location to go to on water restaurants also to enjoy the many wineries, breweries, and hiking trails. On quiet lake road so walking and running for pets or exercise is very easy. Would recommend as long as everyone can do stairs to get to cottage.

Hidden Gem Keuka Lake front cottage

First, Mary Ellen was a supberb host(ess). She took time to communicate with my wife and I as to our satisfaction and if there was anything we needed. Now to the cottage, outstanding views of the lake and surrounding area(s). Lots of room, warm, kitchen all the essentials, beds very comfortable, and excellent lake front cottage to relax and enjoy, especially with the outdoor furniture to view the lake and sunsets. Plenty of shopping know less than maybe 45 mins away. If you by pass this cottage for a visit? You missed the views and relaxation! Second visit already in the making! Thank you Mary Ellen!

Well Equipped Simple Cottage w Perfect Lake View

The Hamm's Cottage comfortably fit our group of 7. We had a beautiful view of Lake Keuka and were close to many wineries on Keuka and Seneca. Inside includes a well-equipped kitchen, large sitting area, and large bathroom. Outside there are two kayaks, a fire pit, a table and plenty of chairs, screened porch with a table and chairs, and a big dock. We had a lovely time visiting the local wineries, Windmill Craft Market and spending mornings and evenings outside enjoying the scenic view with coffee and wine 😊 To note: There are about 45 stairs to the cottage from the parking area. The second-floor bedrooms do not have access to the downstairs through the house, you must go outside. Second-floor heat is provided by space heaters. (These were not issues for our group but I wanted to mention)

Great little cottage right in the water

We had a wonderful week at this little cottage with such a lovely setting with a nice yard with plenty of both sun and shade right on the water. The owners were wonderful to rent from. They were responsive to any needs or questions and wanted to ensure that we had a great stay. And we did!

The cottage was nice. we had a couple of issues but they were taken care of. The owners were real nice people. Just a heads up the 2 upstairs bedrooms don't have a entrance to down stairs. You have to go outside to get to the bathroom down stairs. If you have any trouble walking this is not a good place it has 45 stairs to the cottage.

Lovely location

Lovely small lake home with nice lawn, dock and location. There are a lot of stairs down to house ( not unusual for a lake home). Only downside was two bedrooms are not accessible from inside so you must go down a flight of stairs outside to use bathroom in the main house if you are sleeping in the two “upstairs” bedrooms.

She said it was our most romantic night since we been together for 8 years!

We were suppose to have friends come with us which would have been perfect place…but they got sick and we had the most amazing time alone with a beautiful sunset and moon lit night dancing on the dock!!

Great cottage

The cottage was comfortable with good bed mattresses and plenty of room. It was in good repair, too. We loved the large lakefront lawn and access to the water - nice dock, walk-in area and use of 2 kayaks. The owners were friendly but not intrusive. It was a great place to stay.

Excellent time at the lake

We had a great time at this property. The listing described it perfectly, it was bigger than we thought based on the photos. Lots of room to spread out. The dock and yard were very nice, perfect dock for swimming, fishing and docking a boat. Being only 6-7 miles from the launch made it easy to get our boat to the cottage. All in all, we had a great weekend and would definitely stay here again! Thanks for helping us enjoy our summer!
