The house is exactly as shown on the listing. Very clean and nicely decorated. The lot is ideal for sitting by the lake - flat, easy access. The house is old but updated with lots of quirky little features - built in bunk in the second BR, etc.The kitchen equipment could use updating. There are only 5 forks, the frying pans are warped- making cooking a challenge, the knives need sharpening and there were no paper towels. Minor things, but we did not do a lot of cooking.All in all a great stay.

My family and I loved Birchwood Cottage! In fact, we have already booked it for next year. We loved being right on the lake and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food in the area.

This was our second time coming back to Birchwood Cottage, and it was even better than the first! We spent so much of our time on the covered patio, and we loved the updates to the basement to make it a bedroom. Drew was very easy to get in contact with and handled any of our concerns right away. We hope to be back again!

The Birchwood Cottage is adorable. Renters should know that the bedroom on the main floor is open at the top so light and noise will wake a light sleeper since it is next to the kitchen and family room. Also, the bedroom in the basement has no door and the washer and dryer are in an open environment down there too. We loved all the pillows they had in the rooms, nice touch. The private lot was just what I was looking for at Keuka, it sat back far from the road, plenty of parking, lakefront with some shore and a yard the kids could run around and play on. Overall minimal steps inside and out, another big plus. The dock was concerning, boards not even, we all tripped on it and the boards on the end weren’t secured. We rented a pontoon boat and it held up for it but we were very careful getting on and off the boat. Another plus is the house is close to the marina. Overall, we had a nice week, this was our 3rd rental on Keuka. We have been in nicer houses, with nicer docks but not nicer lots, and minimal steps. Also, we would not rent if there was no fire pit we used it almost every night.

We had a fantastic family trip. The best kept secret is the beach area - we had a blast just hanging in the water, felt safe and away from any boat activity. Close to a playground to give the kiddos another activity, and great location to golf too! Trying to work it into our vacation rotation again.

We had a wonderful girls weekend at Birchwood Cottage. The views and access to the water was amazing! Great location and host! The covered back patio is perfect to enjoy Keuka Lake! Cottage was roomy, comfortable and clean. The huge couch and open concept was perfect to sit around and enjoy our weekend!

Great place!

Perfect for us. The swimming and fishing were great! Very private, lots of room, great level yard. Easy to run up to the Y Knot, Blue Eagle or into Branchport. Great house, love the covered patio!

We love this property- we have lots of family in the area and we love Keuka Lake! Property is just as nice as the pictures show, we will be back.

Even with the cold weather outside, the house felt warm, calm, and genuinely welcoming. A really lovely place to settle into and slow down.We rang in the New Year there with our family, and the quiet, winter stillness made it feel especially meaningful. Lovely Stay on the Lake

Our family had a wonderful time at Birchwood Cottage and we would definitely stay again. Drew was very accommodating and responsive. The home and property were well kept and the lake views and access were amazing.

Girl’s Weekend

This property was perfect for our group of 8. We enjoyed having our coffee by the lake in the morning and there was plenty of space for us to prepare our meals. Would highly recommend this property!

Fabulous lakeside getaway

We had a multigenerational family vacation at this lovely and well-appointed lake house. We loved the ever changing views of the lake over the course of the day, the easy access to the water via the dock and beach and the comfortale house with lots of different spaces for gathering and sleeping. We would definitely recommend this property and would love to come back!
