Thank you for your feedback! I did want to clarify a couple of things for future guests. There is actually a hair dryer provided in the bathroom, so unfortunately it must have just been overlooked during your stay. The tall lamps in each bedroom are there to provide additional lighting and have a foot-operated button on the cord that allows them to be easily turned on and off without unplugging them. I’m unsure specifically where the dust mentioned was located, as I personally clean and dust the property between every guest, including the ceiling fans, shelving, and underneath the beds. That said, I certainly could have missed a spot, and I apologize if that was the case. I do appreciate you mentioning the hand towels, and I’ll make sure those are provided for future guests. I’m glad you enjoyed the theme and character of the property, as well as the cleanliness of the beds, shower, sinks, and countertops, and that I was able to respond quickly during check-in. I do feel that describing the floors, walls, lampshades, and other surfaces as generally dirty is overstated. Nevertheless, since your stay, I have personally gone through the property and thoroughly cleaned and dusted these areas to ensure everything is up to standard. Regarding the bedding, I do not typically use top sheets. The comforters are washed between every guest and are switched out regularly. The front shades are battery-operated, and unfortunately the batteries had died shortly before your stay. They have since been fully charged and are working properly. The bedroom ceiling fans are not fans that have multiple speed settings, so unfortunately that is not something I am able to adjust. As for the road noise, the property is located along a public roadway, which is outside of my control. I also apologize again for the issue with the door code. Your code had been uploaded correctly and worked when I tested the lock prior to your arrival, but electronic locks can occasionally glitch unexpectedly. As soon as you contacted me, I provided a working code so you could access the property. I appreciate you recognizing the charm of the converted general store and my responsiveness as a host.
