In a sea of boring modern options, this older craftsman house was perfect for our large family get-together. Nice layout for hanging together. Kids enjoyed the bunk room, games and s’mores at the fire pit.House had all the amenities we needed, and location is convenient for exploring Seattle.Responsive and friendly host.Will look to book here again!

Room for everyone- so close to farmer’s market- and every amenity you could need. Kids books and games, pad of paper in the desk and, wait for it, actually sharp knives and spices in the kitchen! We had a fantastic time for our impromptu family reunion for the 11 of us!

This place is Beautiful! Exactly as posted, and Lane was so nice to work with. Very quick to respond to any questions. The home was so comfortable, warm, peaceful, and full of charm. It had everything you would need. It exceeded our expectations and I would recommend this home to anyone. Thank you Lane for sharing your Beautiful Home. It was Perfect!!!

Lane was a very welcoming and helpful host.Checked with me during the stay to see how everything was going and to let us know not to hesitate reaching out to her if anything wasnt up to par or was needed.The game room was a hit with the adults and kids. House is in a great location.Ballard has always bewn one of my favorite areas of Seattle.So many places accesible on foot, walked to the Hiram Chittendon Locks, local stores and bakeries.The entire area is full of beutiful old homes, we enjoyed walking the neighborhood and looking at the other homes as well. I loved the enclosed front patio, it was my morning coffee clatch.Coffee, morning quietness and a good book, what a great way to start my days. Thank you, Lane , for sharing your beautiful house and wonderful hospitality. A property worthy if a return stay.

Simply incredible

This was exactly as it is described and then some. The first thing my wife said after she walked through was that she was glad it was so clean. Like, it was immaculate. No hint of cutting corners. The host, Lane, deserves a 10 stars award herself. Totally attentive and quick to reply, and incredibly informative without being intrusive. Further, the private, off-street parking place was a solid win. We have a Suburban, not exactly a Seattle friendly vehicle, and it fit with comfort right at the back of the house, which made a private-esque entry as well. Great neighborhood. It feels safe and friendly. Finally, the beds! It was so nice and comfortable. It is about time an owner put thought into the sleeping mattress. What is the point of going on a trip if you will grumpy from a terrible night of sleep the next day? These mattresses were awesome. I can’t vouch for the pullout, because we didn’t need it. But all of the others were fantastic. There are a ton of other awesome details that I wish I had time to write about, but somebody’s got to pay for these trips! So, back to work I go. If I ever decide to stay in Seattle again, I would totally check to see if this place is available for the night.

Wonderful stay, great host, beautiful home. Loved the quiet Ballard neighborhood location - so convenient to nearby restaurants and fun but in a great residential area. Wish we could have stayed longer!Thank you!

Excellent home in a great neighborhood. Host was easy to communicate with and provided all of the info we needed ahead of time. I would definitely recommend this space to anyone looking in the area.

Great house! It was clean, had so much charm and had comfortable beds. Lane was great with helping access live TV so we could catch the soccer match. Thanks Lane! The games room is a great addition and our kids love the golf game. Thanks for the great VRBO.

Such a cute house. The upstairs layout can be a little tricky but for the amount of people that the house can host as well as the fun Ballard location, we were more than happy to navigate the quirky upstairs layout. The game room adds a fun additional piece to the house and the outside patio is a great place to relax.

This house was the best idea we had along our trip to celebrate the 50th anniversary of my parents. If we had an issue Lane was very quick to answer my mother (no issue with house, questions about VRBO).The house was AMAZING very cleaned organized and stocked with everything we needed for the days before our cruise. Situated in the city so that which ever way you decided to explore was quick access to amazing places.I wish we had more time in the lovely house to explore seattle and the kiddos loved the arcade games and fooseball table.
