Welcome to Shaw Sanctuary — a 5-bedroom, 3-bath home in Shaw that sleeps 12 and comes with dedicated 2-car parking behind the house. A natural choice for large families, multi-family trips, and group visits to St. Louis. The home blends original wood floors and classic architectural details with modern updates. Walk in and it feels like a home, not a rental — the kind of space where people naturally spread across floors and settle in. The dining table seats everyone at once, which matters when 12 people want to eat breakfast together. The kitchen handles group meal prep. Missouri Botanical Garden is a 5-minute walk — 79 acres with the Climatron conservatory and Japanese Garden. Tower Grove Park is 10 minutes on foot. South Grand's 40+ international restaurants are 8 minutes away on foot. Downtown, the Gateway Arch, City Museum, and The Magic House are 10-15 minutes by car. One bedroom has a private balcony — a nice detail for the couple who books it first. Dedicated 2-car parking in back + free street parking. Kid-friendly. Dogs welcome ($75, 2 max). Lovely restored duplex with 5 comfortable bedrooms, fully outfitted kitchen and updated baths. We had a wonderful week's stay while celebrating a family wedding.

Great place for a family getaway!

We were in town for a family wedding and loved this place. It was so close to everything and it was great to have the extra space and parking that hotels don't provide.

Great space for a large group

We really enjoyed having enough beds to accommodate a large group that were coming from different directions. This was a wonderful central location for all of us.

We enjoy staying at historic homes in great neighborhoods and this was one of them! The only complaint we have are that the beds are uncomfortable. The addition of a mattress topper might be helpful? We gave this rental three stars because the quality of sleep is an important aspect of renting a VRBO.

Perfect Getaway!

We had a wonderful girls getaway! Close to everything downtown! It was super clean, beds were comfortable and lots of room for the 10 of us! I would recommend!

Perfect for Thanksgiving with family

We rented both the Left and Right side of the Shaw property for our family and extended family. Both places were clean and accommodating. The beds were very comfortable! The neighborhood is cute and has a number of wakable restaurants and coffee shops. We will definitely stay here again!

STL getaway

We chose STL because it was central to our families. Our grandsons were on spring break which is why we visited this time of year. The house was very clean and very central to so many activities. We ended up have pretty good weather considering it can literally be any season at this time. Highly recommend this property.

Great house for a Family

This a a beautiful older home and had plenty of room for the 10 of us. It was very conveniently located to all the places we wanted to see. It's in a lovely neighborhood. There were two parking spots in the back and then safe, available parking on the street.

Family reunion

This was the perfect property for our family to meet and stay to celebrate our daughter's birthday. Plenty of room for the 8 of us to stay. large kitchen table. plenty of fresh linens and Alex was wonderful to work with. would definitely stay again.

Centrally located for everything we wanted to do!

Nice large house that was convenient to all the attractions we were looking for. The neighborhood was nice felt comfortable walking in the evening. Kitchen was well layed out and perfect for what we needed. Only made one big meal, mostly breakfasts, but plenty of dishes and and such for what we needed.
