McKinney is such a cute little town! The house was close to everything. The golf cart was awesome to get to the restaurants and shops super quick! Lots of room in the house. The host was amazing and very responsive!

This is a very charming house and very walkable to downtown (maybe 10 minutes) we had minor issues but we were able to address them with the host and nothing was lost! Recommend this for a weekend stay!

Great location a 10 minute walk to downtown McKinney. Good beds and comfortable place to relax, read or play games. Our dog was with us and enjoyed the fenced backyard with squirrels.

The landscaping has been somewhat neglected but the house comfortably suited our needs for 3 couples to be so close to downtown for the evening.

We had a really good stay overall and would definitely consider coming back. The location was excellent and made it easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. The host was also fantastic — very communicative, responsive, and genuinely helpful throughout the stay. Patrick gave us several great restaurant recommendations and helpful local tips that made the trip better.The bedrooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely set up, and the large backyard was a huge plus for our dogs. We especially appreciated having outdoor space for them to run around.The downstairs area was a little unusual, with a lot of mismatched furniture and a somewhat cluttered feel, but it didn’t impact our stay too much since everything was functional. The deck and stairs could also use a little maintenance, as a few boards were sagging.Overall, though, the positives far outweighed the negatives. Great host, great location, and a comfortable place to stay.

A nice stay

Excellent for my needs. The house was charming, and the communication with the owner was great. Not much to complain about on my end, and it was great for a small gathering. Didn't go into downtown, but it's a quick walk and a great spot for events. The owner didn't have any ridiculous rules or anything either, worked with me on a couple requests too. Overall, It was great for hosting a small gathering in good proximity to the highway and downtown McKinney.

The location was great, owner was super kind and responsive to any requests. The coffee maker was covered in mold and super gross and there were not proper larger cooking pans and cookie sheets in the kitchen. I feel sure he will get a new coffee maker and buy a large skillet and a few sizes of cookie sheets when he reads this review. The home is cute and has lots of furniture to sit on. Could use a shaker and jigger for mixed drinks too. Home was clean, beds comfortable and all in all good stay. We ended up going out to eat and had to drive for coffee. Had planned to make a big breakfast so a little disappointed in that. Owner will buy these few suggested items and the home will be a 5!

Beautiful older home in downtown McKinney. Perfect location, two blocks from downtown, to walk or use golf cart. Lots of space to spread out. When it gets warmer upstairs, communication was great and the trick of turning it off and letting it rest really does work. We are 60s kind of sleepers so after that one day, set it to 70 during the day and didn’t have a problem again. Host is has to phenomenal communication! We would stay again if ever back in the area.
