With large windows offering stunning river views, the open-concept living area is perfect for both relaxation and socializing. The kitchen is fully equipped and the dining area is perfect for enjoying home-cooked meals together. Each of the four cozy bedrooms is designed with comfort in mind, including plush bedding and plenty of natural light. The windows in most cases could not be opened. Very well stocked (Kleenex in every room, which is unusual for most rentals). The back porch was wonderful - great views sound of the water and wildlife viewing. Also good location - away from all the traffic in town. Would definitely rent again.

Our family of 6 -- 5 adults and 1 child stayed here for 4 nights. We have been to Creede multiple times in the last few years and this was the best rental we have stayed in. With the 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths it was perfect. The space was large so we could easily spread out. The kitchen was much appreciated as we wanted to cook in rather than go to restaurants all of the time. The deck was great and we were able to see so many stars in the evening because of the location out of town. The river was great and view wonderful.The hosts were extremely responsive. I believe they always answered within an hour or at the most 2 hours. The water in the entire area was out one morning and a message was answered within 30 minutes. We were in Creede and when we returned the hosts provided us drinking water. I highly recommend this rental.

Vacation

Place was awesome! Located on river. Fishing was good. Host was very helpful even let us check in early house was plenty big we each had a room to ourselves. Plenty of stuff to do close in Creede. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful views of river and mountains. House was perfect for grandparents downstairs and grandkids family in the 3 upstairs rooms. Parents appreciated the master with bath upstairs. Host are wonderful for all needs/questions. Great to have the game table so dining table is freed up for use. Our new place to stay every year

This is an older home and not glamorous or filled with high-end finishes and does show some wear. However, it was very comfortable and filled our needs perfectly. There were four of us and we each had our own bedroom which was super convenient. Plenty of towels, good heat, decent beds. Big, open great room facing the river which was very nice and had a fun gaming table. The kitchen was well stocked and that was appreciated because one of our party was a chef and did a lot of cooking. The location right on the Rio Grande was really beautiful and the view from the big deck off the great room was absolutely stunning and worth the price of admission. Only complaint was the tiny coffee pot which the owners apologized for, but was quite annoying nonetheless. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay very much. The house is close to downtown Creede and therefore very convenient. Allana and Cody were very responsive to any questions we had and were extremely nice.

This is an older house in a quiet neighborhood. It is a good space for a large group. Loved the deck and being on the river. Location good for restaurants and theater. Responsive host. The beds are good but the sheets could be upgraded. There should be a chair in the bedrooms. Plenty of hot water. There were not enough bath towels and no place to hang a hand towel near the bathroom sinks. General cleanliness OK with a few dust bunnies. Since we were not planning to cook it was OK that there is no BBQ grill. Otherwise, it would have been a deal breaker. Because we didn’t cook, I can’t say how well equipped the kitchen is other than there are not enough coffee cups and the tiny coffee maker is hilarious! There is no ice maker.There are a few maintenance issues. Some of the game table chairs need attention, some of the upstairs windows were difficult to operate. The main reason for only 4 stars is the inattention to the front yard. Our first impression was not a good one.

It's also great to know you appreciated the quiet neighborhood, proximity to local attractions, and our responsiveness as hosts. We make sure the house is stocked with plenty of towels of all sizes. If you end up needing more you can always shoot us a message. The coffee maker decided to retire early so we brought in the "hilarious" understudy to cover for your stay. A new one has taken its place. While we don't have an ice maker we do have several ice trays for guest use. We will look into the game chair that needs attention. Currently, we are rehabbing the front lawn and the grass looks better everyday! We have also added a BBQ by popular demand. Thanks again for staying with us, and for taking the time to share your experience. We hope to host you again in the future!
