Great time!

We had a really nice experience with Ward at Flip flops. The house was clean and welcoming. The only problem was that the garbage cans were full when we arrived.

Unfortunately, it is inevitable that some garbage will have accumulated in the trash carts for any days after pick up. We understand your frustration, and apologize for the inconvenience. Nice house - Not great manager

We were overall happy with our stay other than the first floor AC going out and getting no response from Ward Realty about trying to get it fixed. Fortunately, the top floor AC was sufficient to cool the bottom floor reasonably well.

We love Topsail. It has been our vacation place for many years.

We have stayed at several different places over the years of vacationig on Topsial. Some spectacular and some bargain basement because of our budget at the time. I think that this year house sits right in the middle. Worked well for everyone but it could use some updates. But with that siad, we didn't come for the house, we came for the sun, sand and memories made with family and close friends. With some minor updates the house would be phenomenal. The location was great, and the house met all our needs But we are pretty simple people. We are already looking forward to next years visit to our favorite beach.

We agree that the main purpose of vacationing on Topsail Island is the beach/ocean and making memories! Its a wonderful place to do just that. Great location, not small child friendly

We selected this house because of the claim there was a fenced in backyard in the description, however the yard was unusable and fence was severely damaged. It turns out when I reached out through VRBO this home was through and agency, not the homeowner and they suggested that in the future I use their website to book instead of VRBO - which was not very helpful. Overall - the house was much better than I had anticipated for the price - location is great and property is nicely kept and very clean. However, if you have small children, I would not recommend. The yard is unusable and the top porch is horrifying for children.

Amazing Family Getaway

Absolutely wonderful! So clean! Had all amenities. Linen rental was totally clean and helpful! Beautiful property. Dvd player is a bit dated. Will definitely stay again! Thanks for the memories!

Very nice and clean place

The property was excellent and everything was clean. Everything that we needed was at the property. We only wished that every room had a tv. Definitely would recommend this property and using vrbo.com for booking. Check out was really early and we wanted to get a later check out time but never received a call back from management.

Great house! Great location

We really enjoyed the Flip Flops house. House was clean and cozy. Close to the beach access. My only complaint if I had to list one was that you don't have a power outlet on the ground level accessible by renters. Our golf cart couldn't be charged without running cords from the upstairs deck.

Nice beach house

The house was well maintained, clean and comfortable. We had great views of the ocean from the main living floor and deck. The yard was overgrown and not really usable but the beach access was very close and where we spent most of our time anyway. The area is quiet and full of families. The only drawback we found is that it was a bit too quiet for us. The beach lovers in the family could've stayed another week, others became a little bored and would've liked more activity off the beach.

Many find the quiet neighborhood perfect for groups with kids, making it safe to ride bikes and walk to the beach. But if a bit of nightlife and some shopping is what you're looking for we can totally set you up. Next time let us help you find something a little closer to Surf City Center, where you'll find you can walk to many restaurants, all the shops, and several entertainment establishments. Especially if you choose the North side of Roland Avenue. We hope to see you again soon!

Great find!!

This house was absolutely perfect! Beautiful inside with wonderful decks. Short walk from beach. We had a great time here.

Overall my family and I were beyond pleased with our stay. From the realty company, to the house and layout you will fill as if you are truly home away from home. What an experience and oh the joy! My whole family enjoyed and can’t stop talking about our vacation!
