Perfect for multiple families so everyone can have some space. 5 bedroom three bath sleeps 16. Phenomenal views and so much privacy. Enjoy swimming and fishing at the private dock/gazebo or bring your boat! Walk right out into the front yard and get in the water for swimming, fishing, paddleboarding, or go for a kayak excursion on the 2 available kayaks. Outdoor shower! Rent our 6 seater Golf cart for the true Canal experience and paid beach parking included!

Bird watching is amazing over the beautiful marshes and dolphins often play in the waterway in front of the gazebo!

Walking distance to beach or nice playground. Pets welcome with $150 Pet fee and approval.

Marsh Views

Pelican Point lived up to its name. We had a great time sitting on the dock and watching the wildlife. Herons, gulls, kingfishers, pelicans and dolphins all visited the canal and marsh behind the house. The sunsets were amazing as well.The property had everything we needed for a comfortable visit from the kitchen to the bedrooms and living space. We spent the majority of our time outside on the deck in the Feb/March sun.

excellent location, beautiful views

Pelican Point looks exactly like the picture here, which is the loveliest view we have ever had. The house was exceptionally clean and had all the right appliances. The house was very clean and had The entire family lived on the dock during out stay. Fishing and crabbing were not the best this time of year but no one seemed to mind because we were bird watching or relaxing. We used the kayaks and the bikes. It was a short drive to the beach access and the beach in that location is wonderful. Due to the high cost of parking in Surf City the kids utilized the bikes and the adults either walked or did a drop off (it was only a 5 min ride to the beach). There is a lot to do nearby but the town(s) retain the 'old beach community' feel. This is well suited to a smaller group of adults with a large number of kids as most of the beds are bunks. The separate lower level made it nice. The owners were kind and accommodating to use when we had an emergent situation and we appreciated that very much.

Perfect!

This place was at the perfect location on the sound. The dock was awesome for relaxing, fishing, kayaking, and watching the sunset. Beds were comfortable and the place was clean. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing Stay

Loved having a dock and water access right outside the back door. My husband was able to fish anytime he wanted to. The house was well stocked. Our dog loved walking around in the marshy grass. The golf cart made it easy to get around and go to the beach. Will definitely stay again.

Best view in Surf City

This home has the perfect location. The outdoor space is unmatched. Breathtaking views of the canal, covered deck area with seating, boat dock, spacious yard with hammock, cornhole boards, kayaks. The home is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The homeowners were very quick to answer any questions. Wonderful stay!

Covers it all!

The most well-stocked place we’ve ever stayed! Great location to beach and restaurants but not too busy. Took the bikes to dinner and the beach, fished off the dock, enjoyed the sunset, and all the amenities like all the coffee making options!. Master bed is super cozy. Others are a bit firm for us but nothing an extra blanket can’t fix. Or bring a mattress topper. Our 5 year old loved having her own room and playing in a blow up pool on the dock! Would definitely love to come back.

Great stay

Perfect location. We were able to enjoy fishing on the back dock and paddle boarding. You could walk to the beach. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable.

Peaceful

Property is located in a quiet neighborhood and was very welcoming. We loved the themed rooms and decor. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought and time into making visitors feel at home. There were more than enough kitchen items and loved the coffee makers to fit every need. The beds were super comfortable. The refrigerator was filled with condiments and seasonings already in kitchen cabinet made it helpful will our grocery shopping. The gazebo was a great hangout spot with paddle boards and kayaks available. The hammock was in a perfect spot for relaxation. Caught a couple crabs with the trap provided. Just an all-around relaxing, peaceful stay. Being able to throw a fish line out the back was super convenient. Will definitely stay again.

Great property

My family had a wonderful long weekend. The location is great and the views can not be beat. There was a slight snafu with the check-in process. But the owner remedied the problem immediately. I would highly recommend this property for families!

Perfect Location

This property is perfectly located with a private dock on the canal but also a short distance from the beach and fishing pier. And it was well equipped with everything we needed. Plus, the bed in the primary bedroom is soooo comfortable! Thank you for a lovely mini-spring break!

Comfortable beach home with the best stocked kitchen of any that I have ever rented. Large outdoor areas for lounging, kayaking or playing the nice games that they had available.

Absolutely Amazing!

The house is immaculately kept. It's just as described. The owners are responsive and helpful. The house has everything you'd need from cooking to going to the beach! The view is like no other. Our dog loved it too! We can't wait to stay again in the warmer weather.

Relaxed and Convenient

This home was clean and well stocked. The beds were comfortable. We spent most of our time on the dock fishing, kayaking, and chilling. If you’re not familiar with Surf City this home is convenient to everything including the beach. Owners were available for questions and always helpful. My husband wants to rent again. Can’t go wrong here.

This is a special place!

We love this property! Not only are the owners responsive and helpful, the docks and outdoor area around the water are well done. We visit Topsail Island at least twice a year. We have always stayed in an oceanfront rental. This year we chose to stay on the canals. This home looks out over Surf City canals and into the marshlands of the island. The kayaks, available at this rental, were perfect for early morning or an evening paddle around the canals. The house was well stocked with every necessity. From paper products to laundry soap. The home is well cared for. The king bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. Sending out a BIG THANK YOU to Mindy and Luke for allowing us to enjoy their wonderful Surf City canal home. We will certainly be returning to this amazing home on Topsail Island!

Best Location

Waterfront allowed us to walk out the door and board our boat! So much nicer than launching every day. Unbeatable sunsets! Having the dock right there and such a beautiful setting provided our most relaxing vacation in 30 years!
