This 100-year-old Venice Beach home is located steps from the sand on a quiet pedestrian walk street. Enjoy the beach lifestyle in this two-story, Spanish-style house. Lovingly maintained, it has original hardwood floors, beamed ceilings, and antique furniture. The sound of the ocean will rock you to sleep at night. There is a small rose-filled garden in front and a barbecue and hot tub in back. Great house for family gatherings. The kids can play on the beach or ride bikes on miles of bikepath along the coast. Many great restaurants and shopping opportunities abound within walking distance from house. Trendy Abbott Kinney is just a few blocks away. Explore the Venice Canals just a block close. Beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas are also provided to encourage you to enjoy the casual Venice Beach lifestyle. A great central location for enjoying all of Southern California's attractions.

Yes, there is a tenant who stays in the back house when Tina is not in town. She has her own separate entrance and does not use the backyard and its facilities when there are guests. She is incredibly knowledgeable about Venice and is loved by our VRBO guests.

This was such a memorable and fun place to stay! It is unique and quirky, but still up to date with comfort. It was clean, quiet, easy and so close to the beach. The host was impossibly patient with me and communicated in a very timely manner. Cannot recommend highly enough.

This home was just a delight for our visit with family in Venice. The location is unbelievable, the home is full of charm (and well equipped to meet all vacation needs), and was clean and spacious. You can feel the ocean breeze immediately with a few windows opened, and right away you sink into relax mode. We found the neighborhood quiet, yet only a few minutes from the electric happenings on Venice beach. I’d say the house feels like you are staying with your favorite aunt; warm, inviting, and with room enough to slip away into your own space. The kitchen was well equipped, there were books and games, comfy beds, and coffee shops within minutes walk. My whole family greatly enjoyed the space and we would certainly pick this home to stay again.

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful house. The location was amazing, close to everything yet secluded and quiet to make us forget we were in a busy party area. We had a nice get together to celebrate my sisters 70th birthday. We used the BBQ and lovely dining table to have a wonderful experience. Thank you again. I’d highly recommend staying at this house again!

Great place to stay! The hosts were quick on communication and the place was lovely. We had a fantastic time, all the beach supplies were a wonderful bonus. Would definitely stay there again. Amazing food with in walking distance too.

I'm Tina Walter, my sister Lisa and I grew up in this house. We love it and enjoy having guests that will love it too. Mom and Dad bought it from the original owner/builder and we are always making changes and improvements to keep the house fresh, comfortable and enjoyable.

The beach house is quintessential Venice. Built in 1904 when Venice was in it's grand heyday. It's a great way to experience Venice and Los Angeles, in comfort and style.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The house is 2 houses from the sand, so swimming and playing on the beach are our favorite pastimes. We like to walk to our favorite local restaurants and people watch on the Venice Boardwalk. The house is great for casual entertaining, the dinning table will seat 12 and we've furnished the kitchen with a lot of dishes and silverware to make sharing our home with your guests a snap.
