We had a very nice stay. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The price was reasonable providing much more than a hotel efficiency at a similar price point. It was convenient to New England Rehab where we were visiting my brother. There is a little coffee shop within walking distance where we were able to grab coffee and breakfast sandwiches each morning. The Crooked Mile Coffee House & Cafe. Check in and check out were easy and the owner was very personable. There is ample parking on a quiet street and also a spot in the driveway. It's a lovely neighborhood! The Wi-Fi was great and there are TVs in the living room and in one of the bedrooms. I highly recommend and my family and I will have this at the top of our list for future visits!

David (our host) was wonderful and always available to answer questions about the area. The home is gorgeous, spotless, and well equipped… there was nothing we needed at all.We look forward to returning whenever we visit the Portland/Falmouth area.

This is a cute, historic home, but it does have its quirks.Pros: clean; comfortable beds; quiet neighborhood; easy check-in; good location; excellent shower water pressure; easy parking Cons: The air conditioner is a split system, with active vents only in the dining room and one bedroom. We were there in early September, and it was warm. If you are used to central AC, then this house's air conditioning may leave a lot to be desired. Luckily, we found a box fan for one room, and it did cool down over the days we were there. Outside of summer months, I am sure it is very comfortable.The other item of note is that this house only has 1 shower. There is a half-bath attached to one of the rooms, but if you have a large group staying, then you will have to schedule showers. Overall, we had a nice time in the house and in Portland.

Great Portland Location

Three Gables was the a great location for our visit in Portland. The house was very clean, well equipped and quite comfortable.Communications with the host were prompt and seamless.We highly recommend Three Gables for your visit to Portland!

The home was very clean. Kitchen functional, with a slightly odd layout for dishes and such. Great dining area for a large group, along with a nice sitting area. A/C worked well. Excellent location.

My husband and I stayed for a week at this beautiful home with our grown son and his girlfriend. The house is immaculately clean and well-stocked with everything we needed for an easy stay. The beds were very comfortable with nice linens. It was very hot and humid in Maine during our trip, but the air-conditioners worked great to keep the house cool at all times. Communication with the property agent was prompt and courteous. We had a wonderful time and would love to return in the future.
