The home was a beautiful farm setting for a relaxing weekend. We enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen and grilling on the deck. We got to see a bear walk directly across the property and enjoyed the bunnies outside the home and the other livestock in the area

our stay there was wonderful. We got to see your mama bear and two cubs so that was exciting but very pleased with the house and the location. Only suggestion I have is put TVs in the other two bedrooms.

We enjoyed this property immensely. The house is large and comfortable. The setting is gorgeous. The property manager is fantastic. The location is great too. It takes about 10 min to get to Tunnel Road but, once there, you’re very close to all things Asheville. We would definitely return next time we’re in Asheville.

It is a great place to stay. It had enough room for my family of 6. We enjoyed it being out in the country and had fun hiking the trail.

The property is beautiful. But there was a big bear right outside our window. I wasnt aware of bears until after I had paid and received instructions on the do’s and don’t. And afters she said there may be bear sightings.

We stayed for 4 nights. The WiFi connection was not the best. We were only able to watch TV 2 nights. Cell service was spotty.

Pros: -Absolutely gorgeous location-Hot water-Fluffy towels-Lots of useful kitchen appliancesCons: -Tiny black ants all over the kitchen when we arrived-Mouse droppings in the cabinets-Very dated mobile home-Spongy floor in many places-Locked closets in most rooms - nowhere to hang clothes-Grill did not work. It lit, but we could not increase the flame at all. Very disappointing as I invited my brother over to grill some steaks for a nice dinner. Of course we were able to adapt, but still disappointing. -Almost being t-boned on the driver's side by neighbor barreling down road when we were exiting the property. Be careful. There's a row of bushes obscuring your view on the left as you pull out of the drive. Go slow and check twice!It served our purposes.

Beautiful part of NC. House was immaculate. Peaceful and quiet area during day and night. Off the beaten path, not in a "neighborhood". Spacious and roomy home that was good to relax and unwind in. Various and sundry wildlife you could see out different windows. Places to shop & eat were 15 minutes away. Downtown Asheville was approximately 25 minutes away. Enjoyed the stay here.
