The view is amazing!! Condo is close to everything in Rockaway. A good convenience is there is an elevator for disabled, no need to climb stairs. The kitchen has pretty much everything needed.

This place was absolutely amazing! Beautiful views of the beach and the ocean. Whether I was making something in the microwave cooking something on the stove watching TV playing games I had an amazing view. The place is very well kept,very clean and tidy. The stove Appliance was a little bit tricky when it came to the oven setting but the burners work just fine. I would 110% recommend anyone looking for a nice place to stay with ocean views and a modern simple clean setting, this is your place!

We had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend on the coast. Beautifully furnished condo with warm and cozy touches of comfort from extra throw blankets to the corner electric fireplace. The view from the balcony was priceless. Easy access to town and the beach. Enjoyed every minute of our stay!

Great location and access to the beach, with wonderful views. The condo wasn't very clean when we arrived, comfortable seating was limited, and noise levels were high from neighbors.

Cleanliness and comfort are very important to us, and I’m sorry that wasn’t your experience. We’ve already made adjustments with our cleaning team to ensure consistency going forward, and we’ll be refreshing furnishings this winter to create a cozier, more comfortable space for our guests. Noise from neighbors can sometimes be a challenge in a shared building, but we’ve added white noise machine in the condo to help make it more relaxing. We really appreciate your input—it helps us continue to improve!

Salt and Cedar is a charming and cozy condo with excellent views of the Pacific! The photos posted by the host were spot-on, and everything matched the listing description perfectly. Communication was seamless, and both check-in and check-out were a breeze. Parking was convenient, located less than 500 feet away. It was the perfect stay for two adults.

Everything about our stay was simply beautiful. The condo was fresh, clean, and well-equipped. The ocean view was stunning and the sound so calming. We enjoyed numerous beach walks, a fun bike ride, and delicious food at the local Mexican restaurant and farmer's market. The host is super kind and responsive, and the community is wonderfully welcoming. A 10 all around!

3 Generations at the Beach

I was joined by my daughter and granddaughter who is one and a half at this lovely beach. Stay with only a few minute walk directly to the ocean and access to all of the local amenities, stores and restaurants, and a playground and an art festival. The accommodations in the room were excellent, some of the most comfortable Mattresses and pillows, kitchen stocked with all we needed to cook at home, great parking, absolute ease and beautiful views, couldn’t have asked for more!

This was a great location! We loved Rockaway Beach...it was the perfect place to call home for a few days. Great little shops, bakeries, restaurants, and it's where the train starts! The beach was clean and beautiful! The condo was clean, so well decorated, great use of space, and that balcony...the view was phenomenal. You are on the beach, and the first floor, but you are raised up off of the ground quite a bit. Access to the beach is not right where you are staying but a very quick walk...just a few minutes away and multiple ways to access. If you access by 3rd Avenue, they have community pails/shovels to use which is so kind. The bed is the most comfortable I've ever slept in away from my own. The only thing to consider is that there is a condo above you and you can hear people upstairs. Walking, flushing toilets, etc. There is absolutely nothing the owners can do about this...but they try by providing a white noise machine, which is very thoughtful. Overall a wonderful stay!

I really enjoyed my stay at Salt and Cedar. This is a lovely condo and the views are amazing. Everything was just as described in the listing. It was immaculate and pristine. The bed and bedding were comfy and cozy. The kitchen was well stocked and all the kitchenware was in great shape. I had just about everything I needed to prepare meals and enjoy my stay. Communications with the host were excellent. He responded quickly to all my questions and when I had a problem connecting to the wifi he was on it in minutes and the property manager came and gave me a hand. Check in and out were straightforward and easy. I look forward to staying at this lovely property in the future. It was hard to leave!

We absolutely loved this condo on the beach! Kitchen was well stocked which was very helpful and the space was comfortable and clean. Right in the center of town and perfect for walking to dinner or the beach!

Glad we booked this place! Beds were comfy and place was clean. We didn’t cook in but kitchen seemed to be well-stocked. Bring your own toiletries-no big deal at all. Went up nearly an hour north one day to Canon Beach and worked our way back down to Rockaway. Next day went South about an hour to Pacific City and worked our way back to Rockaway. Tidepooling at the jetty is nearby. The coastal train is about a one minute walk from the rental. Shops and restaurants walking distance from rental! I do think there were about 15 stairs to get to the rental (2 small sets of 7-8 each) although it’s technically a first-floor unit. Did NOT smell of pets or have pet hair in the unit. :) Pacific Edge Espresso is a drive up coffee spot about 5 minutes drive away-opens at 5 am and the Caramel Dream Latte was supreme! Other favorites on trip were Javi’s in Portland for breakfast, Wayfarer at Canon for breakfast, Roseanne’s in Oceanside for crab cakes and a really good turkey cranberry sando, and Tillamook ice cream for dinner at least once!! Sea Level coffee in Canon was good and had a noise almond bar! Manzanita had TONS of little shops. Cape Kiwanda lookout (climb the right part of the sand dune to lookout) was great-even spotted a grey whale with our binocs. Elk Flats Trail to Devil’s Caludron was THE absolute best view-12 minute hike from car but not family-friendly as there are no fences and probably wouldn’t even take a dog there. Great area and rental was perfect-sunset off balcony
