Kitchen tools were sparse and needed more implements. Some windows had no covering and the first floor bedrooms should have had block out drapes as opposed to almost transparent. The sunlight was unbearable. An 8 bedroom house should have had 2 refrigerators, 2 dishwashers, 2 washing machines and 2 dryers. The outside was surrounded with garbage.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We sincerely apologize that certain aspects of the cabin did not meet your expectations. We understand how important a well stocked kitchen, adequate window coverings, and convenient amenities are, especially when accommodating a large group. We appreciate your suggestions regarding additional appliances and will share them with the property owner for consideration. We are especially sorry to hear about the trash and debris surrounding the property, as this is certainly not the experience we want for our guests. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention.

Very clean cabin. A lot of entertainment and games was on site. All appliances worked. Plenty of towels and wash clothes for all the guests were available. Swimming pool was very clean and water was clear. The outdoor pavilion is very nice. We spent a lot of family time on the pavilion.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this cabin! It was very clean, and the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable for everyone. The location was perfect—close to everything in the Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg area, which made getting around super easy. We especially enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi, and the mountain views were absolutely amazing! The only recommendation would be improved ventilation in the pool area. Other than that, everything was great. My family and I will definitely be back!

Every other year our family gathers and this year we were very pleased with our stay at this lodge. I think it was called Splash Mountain Lodge. We are 21 total. Each room was spacious with all the bathrooms the same. All had king size beds. A few rooms also had a set of bunk beds which was great for those with children. There was much to do in the area. It was a reasonable drive to Dollywood and other places we went. It was nice to be a little outside of the busy-ness. Traffic was not bad. The roads are windy so you have to be attentive. We were very happy with our stay. Note: The kitchen was smaller than we expected but fully functional and did not hinder our stay at all. We appreciated the long dining table.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear Splash Mountain Lodge was the perfect gathering place for your family of 21. It means so much to know the spacious bedrooms, king size beds, bunk rooms for the children, and the long dining table helped make your time together comfortable and memorable. We're also glad you enjoyed the peaceful location while still being just a short drive from Dollywood and other local attractions. We appreciate your feedback about the kitchen size and are happy to hear it was fully functional and met your group's needs. There is no greater compliment than hearing your family was very happy with your stay. Thank you for choosing Summit Cabin Rentals. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you back for another memorable Smoky Mountain getaway!

The house was very nice, roomy and clean! We did have an issue with the upstairs AC not cooling. According to the AC tech the unit had to much coolant and the unit is not big enough to support the area. The last night of our 4 night stay it worked better. Upon arrival we were not able to use the pool due to the setting for the temp on the pool had been set to high. The kids were able to use it on the second day of our stay as it took a while to cool back down. We were also advised to bring extra paper goods (TP and paper towels) , which I am glad we did because by day 3 we were running low and had to use our own. The trash was not picked up and at check out we had to stack the trash outside the trash bin area due to it overflowing.

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We're glad you found the home spacious, clean, and comfortable. We sincerely apologize for the issues with the upstairs A/C and pool temperature, especially since both affected your ability to fully enjoy the home and its amenities during your stay. We're glad the children were able to enjoy the pool beginning on the second day and that the A/C improved before your departure. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the starter supply of paper products and the overflowing trash area. While we do recommend guests bring additional supplies for longer stays, we understand the frustration of not having adequate space to dispose of your trash. If a guest needs a trash pick up we are more than happy to accommodate if they call and request one. There is not a set trash pick up day as all stays are different. We appreciate you choosing Summit Cabin Rentals!

Family Vay Cay

Overall a great vacation made a few recommendations to add shower caddy to all bathrooms, it was difficult to hold soap, shampoo etc in hand while bathing. Also add guard rails for seniors slipping Trash can outside were invaded by animals and we had to clean up daily, we noticed other units had cages to guard trash.

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback! I’m so glad you had a great vacation overall. I really appreciate your suggestions—adding shower caddies and guard rails are great ideas, especially for guest comfort and safety. We’ll also look into securing the outdoor trash better to prevent animal messes. Your input helps us improve, and we hope to welcome you back soon!
