Gorgeous beach home has terrazzo floors with Oriental rugs and tasteful furniture that fill the living and sleeping areas. Bedrooms feature queen-size beds.

The large, glassed-in solarium (porch) of Villa Sounion serves as the third bedroom and overlooks the beach with fabulous views of the emerald water, dolphins, and exquisite gulf sunsets. Set on a bluff, wood decking and steps take you down to the gulf and crystal white sands. Fishing from the shores will ensure your dinner, and crabbing at dusk is an added bonus.
PLEASE NOTE: there is a four night minimum mid March through September and a four night minimum October through December.
Enjoy panoramic views of the emerald gulf in your private tropical home where you do not have to share walls with strangers. This home comes complete with your own private driveway and private parking. It is a quaint, older retro style stucco beach house that has been in our family for several generations and is reminiscent of past family beach holidays.
For those who golf, Panama City beach area has been chosen as the third best 'golf destination' in the nation
There is an option to split payments if necessary.

Great location with postcard view.

Located on 30A close to very nice dining and shopping. The beach is just steps away from the back door. Two bedrooms two bathrooms plus an additional sunroom that has a daybed and a futon. Full size washer and dryer. Check in/out was easy. We enjoyed our stay. The host was very polite.

Great place to get away and find peace.

It was great to get away from the grind and this place met every expectation. Close to so many options to eat and entertain. Also, great spot for some great bike riding.

Best beach location ever.

Location, location, location. Best beach experience ever. Private beach home weather was perfect all week. Beautiful beach. We hardly left the property except to get food. Publix less than 3 miles away. Grilled steaks, chargrilled oysters on the grill, cooked breakfast and supper on property. No issues at all with property. Two close friends joined us the last 2 days. Brought my fur baby, Janie. She got to walk on beach on hours allowed on a leash. She loved it. Stephanie is awesome. Home she keeps the family home so we can visit again in the future. June 22-27, 2024

Lovely home in an amazing area.

Home as listed, well furnished, with everything our family of 5 needed to have a wonderful stay. We spent time in pcb and destin, but our favorite place was right in the back yard.

Old-Seacrest Florida Beachfront Property

We enjoyed our four-night stay at Casa De Sounion, especially the view from the back patio area and walks on the beach. The property and home are accurately described and have a secluded old-Florida feel; although, you are only a few steps down the driveway to 30-A. We were able to ride our bikes on the Timpoochee Trail two mornings but got rained out Saturday. Even with the rain Saturday we had a peaceful, relaxing visit to Seacrest Beach. Stephanie had a well/water issue to resolve the day of our check-in, but her team worked hard to ensure we had water before the end of the day. We look forward to returning!

Real Florida Getaway

We had a great week at Sounion, a beautiful "Old Florida" beach house with a Florida room overlooking the emerald water and white sands of Seacrest. We loved the lounge chairs on the front patio set high on the dunes and the comfortable living areas inside. The driveway through the live oak alley brought us from bustle of 30-A to a serene and peaceful retreat. We had two couples and two dogs. We look forward to returning in 2024!

Happy Guests!

We have stayed here several times and are always happy. The location is wonderful. The beach access is so convenient. We love that we can store our beach chairs under the stairs and don't have to take them up and down the stairs every day. I love they allow pets. My little dog loves laying in the sun in the back yard. I only have 2 small complaints. The wifi was spotty all week, which was a little irritating, but the owner took my call quickly and it seems to have been a provider problem. The backs on 2 of the lounge chairs had to be propped up on the house; the backs seemed to be broken. They probably should be replaced. Despite, those two small issues we were very happy with our stay. The owner is always easy to work with. Will stay again.

Perfect As Always

We have stayed at "Casa De Sounion" for several years in a row and it never disappoints. Stephanie is always so responsive to all of our questions during our stay. She goes above and beyond to make our stay is so enjoyable every year. The location is perfect and the house is always so clean. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. The view of the ocean is amazing and the great part is you are only steps away from the beach. The beach has never been crowded during our stay. We love staying here and plan to return every chance we get! Bringing our fur babies is an added bonus so I hope people abide by the rules so pets will continue to be allowed. We've stayed at several places along 30A but this one is our very favorite!

Great getaway

Great location! Loved our stay. Stephanie was quick to respond and offer tips of where to go in the area. The house was exactly as pictured, with updated TVs not shown in photos. Loved its charm as it reminded me of the house I grew up in that was built in the same era. Kids loved the sunroom, ate and played there. My daughter also preferred sleeping there instead of in the bedroom with her brother. We all loved our visit.

Nostalgia of times gone by! Loved it

The home is exactly as described. You are stepping back in time to Old Seagrove days. I admire the owner Stephanie for holding strong and providing an opportunity to experience Seagrove as it used to be, at least at this house. I felt as though I were visiting my grandparents old FL home. If you’re looking for modern and shiny, this isn’t for you. If you are looking for clean, practical, nostalgic, maybe a little something that needs attention here and there that feels like home with a PHENOMENAL view, this is your kind of vacation rental! I cannot wait to return. Loved every minute spent in this charming beach cottage. Stephanie is dedicated to caring for and preserving this family heirloom that is very loved. So thankful she is willing to open it up to guests. We will be back ❤️🌊

Beautiful View and Location

Heaven on Earth

The stay was a senior trip of sorts for my daughter and a much needed getaway for me! We enjoyed our stay so much and hated to leave. The house was perfect for the four of us. Very private considering the location. The ocean views are amazing. We hope to come back to this area again someday!

Happy Campers!

It’s hard to find a 2 bedroom 2 bath house on the beach. This is the second time we’ve stayed here and will stay again. It would be nice if the property came with bikes to use. We brought our own and enjoyed riding around. They do have them to rent nearby as well.
