Remodelled 3 Bdrm Grand Champions Villa with Full Ocean View and New Central A/C

We're very excited to offer our returning and our new guests our Maui home, which includes full remodels to the kitchen and both baths.

Not pictured: We have replaced all of our noisy inefficient window box A/C units with a quiet and efficient A/C system throughout the condo. Each room has its own separate thermostat. (Note that the bunkbed room has a wall mounted fan).

One of our guests observed 'the pictures of this place are nowhere near how lovely it is. This is a great condo. We thoroughly enjoyed it and all that Maui has to give. Thanks for sharing. Everything was better than home!'

There are only a handful of these 1400 square foot 3 bdrm 2 bath second floor corner units in the entire resort and very few are available for rent. This elegantly appointed unit offers a panoramic full ocean view from the spacious lanai. The unit is located on the second floor of a two-story building, with a private corner location. No other units are visible from this location.

The elegant tropical decor offers a relaxed setting for a family vacation, or special get away. The modern floor plan offers a master suite (king-size bed), a guest bedroom (two twin-beds that can be converted to a king), a third bedroom (twin day bed and twin trundle bed), and a nautical style 'bunk room' with twin bunk beds, as well as a fully-equipped kitchen. We have free high speed internet access.

Ulua and Wailea beaches are each under a mile away, and a very manageable walk. If you have a lot of gear to bring along wih you to the beach, both Ulua and Wailea beaches have public parking (Ulua Beach has ample parking while Wailea Beach is more limited). Ulua has been named one of the Top 10 Most Beautiful Beaches in America; and Wailea Beach, which fronts both the Grand Wailea and the Four Seasons Resorts has been named one of the Top 10 Beaches in Hawaii.

Even closer to our place, the Shops at Wailea are under a 1/2 mile away and offer fabulous dining and shopping.

Our condominium is convenient to the Wailea Tennis Club, and Wailea's world famous Blue, Emerald and Gold Golf Courses. For a vacation you will not soon forget, come to our luxury villa in Wailea, you will not be disappointed!

Family getaway with adult children

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful condo! It was sparkling clean, everything we needed for a day at the beach was available for our use, the kitchen was well equipped for making meals and the furniture/beds were comfortable. Everything was perfect for our first ever family trip to Hawaii. We are so grateful.

Great vacation

Our stay here was great! The area was nice and quiet, and the ocean view was nice. It’s bigger than a lot of similar places we considered, which is good when you have teenagers. The bunk room is probably perfect for families with small kids, but my teenagers just ended up sharing the room with the twin beds. It got a little warm in the bunk room. Would definitely stay here again!

The view is amazing

We stayed here 11 nights for our family vacation. The Wailea location is amazing! You can walk to restaurants and shopping, it’s also a short drive from the local beaches. The condo has all the amenities you need, including a full kitchen with all the necessities. Most of all, we loved the view- beautiful sunsets! Thank you for a great stay!

Living the dream

Great condo for our family of 5 adults, close to great beaches, shopping, and restaurants. We enjoyed watching whales from our Lanai and got to view some pickleball matches as well. Really enjoyed our stay, lovely apartment with loads of room for myself and 3 adult children. Great kitchen, very well kitted with everything you would need incl. proper kitchen knives which was brilliant (and unusual!!). Super location too and walkable to restaurants and beaches. Wonderful Condo and location

Our family, daughter and son in law, their two children and us grandparents stayed at this Grand Champions condo. We've been to Grand Champions before but not to this unit. The location and community can't be beat! The condo was clean and quite comfortable. The reason for the 4 stars was there were very tiny and in the kitchen intermittently, the condo could use some general updating and the owner forgot to send the check in instructions. So after a long travel day with two small children in tow, we didn't have complete address or an access code. It took quite a while to reach him and finally get the info we needed. Then it was smooth sailing. Don't hesitate to stay here. It was wonderful!

Beautiful vacation rental in Wailea

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The condo is spacious, clean, very comfortable and well equipped. It was so nice to have everything we needed for beach outings on hand (chairs, umbrella, lots of towels, even sand toys for our kids). And as it was quite hot when we were there, we did appreciate the air conditioning. The view was also fantastic! We took tennis lessons at the tennis club which is next door. And Ullua Beach was perfect for our children as the water was calm and also great for adults to snorkel. We would love to return some day!

A well appointed condo to spread out in

Tara and David’s Wailea condo was the perfect Maui home base for our multigenerational family vacation. The condo itself is large, tastefully decorated and has all the little details that make for a great trip in Hawaii, like beach towels, coolers and beach chairs (really game changing for beach hopping.) The condo is comfy and feels like home. There was lots of space to spread out in. Beds were super comfortable. It’s the perfect location on the amazing property - close to pool, sweeping views of the ocean, spacious wraparound lanai. Thank you for being part of our amazing Maui vacation. We hope to be back!

Amazing condo, host and unbeatable views!

Our stay was exceptional! The views, especially of the ocean and sunsets, were spectacular. The location was perfect for our family, right across from the pool, and the spacious condo had everything we needed. Our evenings were filled with fun, playing games like Monopoly and Uno around the large dining table. The kids loved their bunk bed room! All rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. The main living area was great for dinners, visiting and playing games. Hosts David and Tara were kind and responsive, quickly fixing a minor issue with the shower drain and check-in and check-out was simple and seamless. We can’t wait to return for another memorable stay!

Gorgeous sunsets and roomy condo in upscale Wailea

The location of this condo is at a higher point of the division, and nestled amongst lush trees (overlooking the tennis and pickle ball courts), providing more privacy and a gorgeous ocean view. Sunsets on the lanai made dinner reservations much less appealing! We cooked many of our meals and the kitchen was well stocked, even toilettries were available in the showers, making it much easier to settle in. The surroundings in Wailea are unmatched, paired with the wonderful condo and responsive managers - it was perfect!

Great location and nice unit but we had some issues

This unit is in an ideal location with an incredible ocean view. We enjoyed the sunset each evening on the lanai overlooking the racquet club. This unit was also (by far!) the best stocked rental we’ve ever had on Maui. There was a great selection of nice microfiber towels, beach chairs, sand toys and several sizes of paddle boards. The kitchen also had all the essentials- oil, sugar, spices, soy sauce etc to make cooking a breeze. However, there were issues with the A/C while we were there and we couldn’t have it on in the bedrooms and in the living area at the same time. We were also asked to keep it at 78 degrees or above during our stay. Each room had a ceiling fan which was nice but sometimes you just need air conditioning. Thu “bunk” room is cute and nicely done but from the description I didn’t understand the layout of the unit until I saw it. The first bedroom with the twin beds is right inside the front door. The door to that room is made of rice paper and there’s no way of eliminating the sound or light from the living area to that bedroom. The bunk room (I believe) was formerly a small closet which connects this first bedroom to the primary bathroom and primary bedroom.The door between the bunk room and the primary bathroom/bedroom is also rice paper so the sound/light easily travels there too. Due to the sound issues, everyone went to bed when the kids went to bed. We also had issues with the smartTV in the living area so we didn’t use it.

Even Better Than Advertised!

What a lovely home, with perfect Hawaiian charm! The house was SO clean, which we really appreciated. There was plenty of room for us. The accommodations are even nicer than pictured, particularly the little bunk room. It is a small space, but it not only opens up through the ship door into the double twin room, but also opens into the shared bathroom with the master on the other side making it feel more spacious and open to the other bedroom spaces. We found several beach chairs, beach toys, floaties, coolers etc. You will find everything you need for beach days. And we loved sitting on the lanai watching the pickle ball tournaments below us. We'd come back in a heartbeat! For your planning purposes, we had two adults, four teens and one eight year old staying with us, all very comfortably.

Great condo

The condo was great, I found it strange that the property manager emailed me directly instead of going through VRBO so I had a difficult time with check-in directions. Once that was fixed, we had a great time. The third bedroom that is pictured here has a very short trundle bed, best for kids and the bunkbed room is a closet, a closet that has no airflow, a closet that goes into the master bedrooms bathroom. It was very strange, and my teenage kids were too big to use it. This was unfortunate and I wanted and needed a 3 bedroom condo. The third bedroom is for small kids only, that should really be emphasized for future guests. The condo had everything we needed, and was in a great location. All in all we enjoyed our time in Wailea.

Perfect Maui vacation

Loved staying here! We had our family of 4, with 2 young kids, and one set of grandparents and it fit us more than easily. Loved the lanai in the AM for coffee and for sunsets in the evening. The private master bedroom lanai was great in the afternoon for reading while kids napped - felt like it was in its own secluded jungle. Only used the new AC in the one bedroom in the evening for an hour to cool that room down (it got hot from afternoon sun) but otherwise there were wonderful breezes and no need for AC. Greatly appreciated all the beach gear! Tons of shovels and buckets for kids to play in the sand and a sturdy boogie board (much better than cheap styrofoam versions at ABC stores) and chairs and beach towels. Also wonderful to have washer and dryer in the unit as we were there for 2 weeks and only then needed to pack enough clothes for a couple days as we could throw in a load before heading out to the beach. Location was great - as mentioned ocean views from the lanai and sunsets and whales. But easy walking distance to several great restaurants, the shops at Wailea and even some groceries (although we stopped at Costco in Kahalui as we arrived from the airport as well). Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful condo and amenities - we made many amazing memories! Mahola!

Home away from home

We brought our 18 and 20 year old to celebrate high school graduations and our 25th wedding anniversary after Covid ruined previous celebration. The condo is perfect! Extremely comfortable, great views from living room and lanai. We cooked many meals in and kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc. There was also some left-over items like spices, ketchup, mayo that we didn’t have to get, and we added some of our favorites throughout the week. A large and small cooler for day trips at the beach provided, as well as beach towels, beach chairs, a boogie board, and one set of snorkel equipment. At first we questioned the beach towels as they seemed thin, however, they were perfect for the Maui sun and the sand came right off of them, they also folded up small for bags. We had one issue with a kitchen cabinet coming unhinged, but with an email, the property manager was there within about an hour and it was fixed quickly and the gentlemen that fixed it recommended a place to go and snorkel we otherwise wouldn’t have gone to. Condo was perfect and would highly recommend renting, we would stay there again! Walkable to shops as well. Also highly recommend Alii Nui morning snorkel trip if you want to relax and be pampered. The crew was fabulous and we all enjoyed our time. And it was worth a trip to Lahaina for the Feast at Lele Luau. Delicious food and fabulous entertainment, much different than the Luau at hotels.

A great condo for a family vacation!

We had a fantastic stay at this condo in Wailea. We loved the area, and the condo was a great base for our travels around Maui. There was plenty of space for our family of five adults and one older teenager. We liked that we had access to a fully equipped kitchen and an outdoor grill for some more economical meals, and we also enjoyed the variety of restaurants within a short driving distance. The condo really had everything we needed, with beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, coolers, even shampoo and laundry detergent. The living room, dining area, and lanais were all spacious and comfortable, and the whole condo was very modern and clean. Note that the interior doors in the condo are slatted doors, and there is a thin sliding door between the bunk room and the master bedroom. Our favorite beach was Ulua Beach, a five minute drive from the condo - it had beautiful sand, some nice shady areas by the trees, great swimming and snorkelling. Our favorite dinner spot was The Kapa Grill at the Marriott resort. We had a lovely date night there, watching the sunset while listening to live entertainment - a very talented Hawaiian duo.The food was reasonably priced and yummy, and the fancy drinks were divine (although pricey!). We would not hesitate to recommend this condo for rental. The price is a very good value for a high-end unit in a beautiful area that is meticulously maintained. The owner, David, was very helpful and easy to deal with. We only had one issue - a problem with hot water in the ensuite shower which was fixed amazingly fast the next day. David graciously allowed us a late checkout time even though we had not arranged for that ahead of time. Overall, I would give this condo a rating of 10 stars (out of 5)!!! I hope we get to return to the amazing island of Maui someday!

Pros and Cons

Overall, we had a nice time in Maui and the location was great. We found a nice nearby beach we frequented often. The condo has great beach chairs and sand toys for the kids to play with. The kitchen was great and well equipped and having a washer and dryer was awesome. One thing that we were made aware of was that the condo was not cleaned by a professional cleaning crew prior to our arrival. We were disappointed, as the condo did not feel or smell clean, we found some urine spots on the outer rim of the toilet, and lots of dust. With COVID 19, we were under the impression that there would be a thorough cleaning/disinfecting of the condo in between guests. The bedding all smelled musty and had not been freshly washed and dried. The carpet is in dire need of being replaced. We didn't feel comfortable having our bare feet on the carpet. The chair and sofa cushions are very old and are in need of replacement, very uncomfortable. The internet does not work well unfortunately. Luckily, we had personal hotspots on our phones to hook up to our computers. When we first arrived we were informed a plumber would be there to fix a slow leak. We made sure to be out of the condo at that time to allow their plumber in. The plumber did not show up, so their Property Manager waited inside of the condo (yes, inside with all of our personal belongings), and then tried to reschedule for another day at 8:00am. We asked her to move it to another day after we left, as this would be a second inconvenience, which she did. Overall, the condo did it's job, the location was great and we had a blast in Maui, but I was disappointed in these aspects described above.

We are within easy walking distance of the Shops at Wailea, and typically take a stroll down there for icecCream or a coffee drink. And it is only another couple blocks either way to two of the best beaches on Maui, Ulua and Wailea beaches.
