Real log cabin over looking rushing creek . The cabin is semi- private, yet close to everything.We are with in 7 miles of Lake Blue Ridge, the old town shops ,scenic railroad,river rafting,zip lining and lots of hiking trails. We have two bedrooms up stairs and two baths and one bed and bath downstairs. Two decks overlooking creek, fire pit outside,fireplace inside . We have a grill on porch, we also have wifi , board games , The creek is very dangerous to get in and fish so we do not allow people in creek , but have a observation deck you can sit on and enjoy the sounds and view, There is a lot of places near you can go fish,

The property was amazing with a lovely sound from the creek. We did a trip to the Apple Orchard, hiking and a wonderful horseback ride at Appalachian stables.

Eddie, the host, is very kind and responsive. The kitchen is well stocked with supplies to cook our meals and had 3 sticks for marshmallow roasting :) the cabin’s location is very scenic with the creek in the back. It’s close enough to downtown Blue Ridge but far enough away to feel secluded. All in all, we would definitely stay again.

We had an amazing time at Fightingtown River Retreat. The Cabin is extremely stocked with everything you need. The host contacted us as soon as we checked in. It was a very relaxing clean cabin with a beautiful view of the river ! The cabin is stocked with Excursion brochures and plenty of reading material Facebook and games . Perfect location , semi private with a circle drive. We definitely will stay again. Thank you,Joe

Lovely cabin in the woods, with a creek running past. Great location-12-15 minutes to town and a good home base to visit other small towns Large enough for a big crowd, also cozy enough for a small one! Well stocked, very welcoming. Pet friendly so you can bring the whole family!

The cabin was wonderful. Checking in and out was extremely easy. Eddie is a great host and was quick to reply to any questions I had. The cabin sits above the creek, we loved sitting out on the porch with the sounds of the creek below. The porch had great views but the viewing deck down a short trail had an amazing view. We brought camping chairs to sit in at the viewing deck, there are barstools which we used but was glad we had the others also. We brought our dog with us and was grateful for the crate downstairs so that we didn’t have to bring one with us. Blue Ridge was an easy drive, less than 15 minutes and Ellijay was also close by. The area the cabin is in felt safe which is something I’m always worried about so I thought I’d mention that in case anyone else cares. We would definitely stay here again, loved our time there.

Amazing place, recommend 100% the place is very cozy, quiet the only thing you need is your personal stuff we definitely didn’t want to leave.

Host let us know we could check in early, the cabin was perfect cozy and felt like you were in the tree tops! The creek was relaxing in the background. Great location not far from all the different things to do and the grocery stores.

Beautiful cabin with hosts who communicate quickly and had all the comforts of home. Loved sitting on the back deck and listening to creek and watching birds. Nice peaceful and relaxing.

Very well stocked kitchen and bathroom items. Comfortable bed and sheets and blankets. Nice cabin, beautiful setting.Host was a great communicator. Would stay here again. Lovely area with many things to do in the area, scenic drives, waterfalls, Blue Ridge shops great and unique. Escape Room was fun.

Property well kept, well stocked. Location in reach of sourrounding activities and resources for a getaway stay. We found no negative aspects and were quite comfortable during our stay.

Nice clean cabin with 2 porches across the back facing the creek. Loved hearing the creek. Cabin is well supplied. The steps leading to downstairs are steep so plan to put the young people down there lol.

It was a beautiful cabin. Everything was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and so peaceful. The host was amazing.
