The cabin was very clean and set up well. The beds were comfortable with lots of pillows. The kitchen had a stocked coffee bar with plenty of plates and silverware. It is a great place to walk and is right ON the river..gorgeous. I’d like to go back.

Great area. The River house was perfect for the 4 of us. Very convenient to downtown, the stores and Ellijay area. The River House has several sitting areas outside which was very nice except it rained the whole time, so utilized the porch furniture a lot. Definitely would rent this place again. Our favorite wineries are The Roo & Buckley’s.

Beautiful and Peaceful

The River House on the Cartecay is both beautiful and peaceful. Our stay was exactly what our family needed! We didn't need to bring a thing - the house was exceptionally well stocked and had everything we could possibly need. We loved the calm and soothing sounds of the river. The house felt wonderfully secluded and private, yet groceries and restaurants were just a short drive away. The outdoor area is absolutely magnificent, with plenty of comfortable seating, two fireplaces, and so many perfect spots to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. We will definitely book the River House again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect getaway. It truly was an amazing experience!

absolutely beautiful accommodations. host very receptive when we had a yellow jacket issue. luxury bedding and furniture. kitchen fully equipped with coffee bar ! sat outside alot and walking our dog was so easy, tranquil setting so very quiet. Wish we could come back tomorrow!

Great Stay

This house was wonderful! It had everything you could think of! From a fully stocked kitchen, to tons of towels and supplies, everything was great. The outdoor area was so relaxing and nice. The house was in a perfect location- far enough away that we couldn’t hear cars, but only 5-10 minutes from the grocery store and restaurants. It is about 25-30 minutes from tons of hiking, and only 10 minutes from downtown Ellijay. We will definitely stay here again!
