Beautiful cottage with a great location. Looked exactly like the pictures. Everything was very clean and you could tell the property was very well kept up. Check In was easy and Terry was very accessible. My husband and I had a wonderful stay in Mackinaw City.

Pack extra clothes, the closest laundromat is across the toll bridge in St Ignace.

This property was clean but a bit dated. The air conditioning comes from a window like unit in the living room and while it puts out adequate air it is noisy. Also of note there is no dishwasher so be prepared to handwashing any dishes you use. We did have coffee available however the coffee maker took quite awhile to finish making a pot. The location is great. Close to the ferry, restaurants and shops. Quiet neighborhood for being so close to the main drag.

Thank you for a wonderful stay at your adorable cottage. The location was the best, close to everything. The cottage was clean, quiet, the beds were comfortable, It was well stocked, just what I needed to reset and get ready for work again. I would stay here again, thank you for sharing your lovely home with us,

We loved staying at this cottage. It was clean, had everything we needed and was in walking distance of shopping and dining and even the ferry was a short 5 minute walk. The host was great at responding to us quickly. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place!

We absolutely loved this place and it is perfectly situated and convenient. The only thing that could improve would be to upgrade the beds as they are very very firm. Lovely place, and wonderful host.

Stayed here for a girls trip with some of my college friends. Property is beautiful and within walking distance of town and the ferries. The host is very kind and responsive. 5/5 would stay here again!!

Perfect location

The cottage was perfect for our trip to mackinaw island. Easy walk to ferry and all the shops and restaurants. 10/10 would stay again!

Adorable house in very convenient location. We were able to bike to the bridge and bike or walk to the ferry and town. It’s on a busier street but that really didn’t bother us as things quieted down at night.

Our visit was absolutely wonderful. The weather was great and the sights were beautiful. The cottage was perfect for us and it was very cute.

We loved our stay at Huron Breeze Cottage! Terry, the host, was fantastic! He was super responsive to questions and helped us with restaurant recommendations. The cottage is quaint and was perfect for our group. We loved that it was right in the heart of Mackinaw City and walkable to everywhere! A bonus was that the bathroom has been updated from the listing pictures and now has a bright vanity, lots of storage, and a beautiful walk in shower! We would definitely stay here again!

First off, the house was adorable and the host was perfect. Just not for us. And that’s ok. Just want to give honest feedback for others. The house was charming and in the most perfect location. As a family traveling with kids, the bright non stop glow of the house was too much the first night. Sent Terry a message and the problem was fixed. We are country folk and use to more darkness. The neighbor house was extremely close you could hear them closing cabinets. Again; loud. Not something with kids we were expecting. And as early bed people this was frustrating. No dishwasher and no laundry. A bummer when planning family trips on a budget. Don’t want to be doing dishes and we always plan to do laundry. It’s why we VRBO. maybe I didn’t read the listing properly. It was what it was. We lived. But those amenities are a must for us bc we plan to eat at our location so as not to be eating out 3 meals a day. I completely understand that’s not normal. Lol lastly the two actual beds were rock hard. I mean rock hard. By night 3 I wanted to check into the best western across the street. May I suggest a pillow top or something. Plenty of blankets and pillows which was good bc we also need to utilize the pull out couch. The house was very clean. Bathroom was gorgeous. And again, perfect walking location. We had an amazing time in the area.

Great for a Girls' Weekend

Stayed at this property with my mom for a nice girls weekend away. The location was great and very convenient to get to Mackinac Island and Sault St. Marie. We're already planning a return trip for next summer and will definitely stay here again!
