With 1 queen bed, 2 full beds, and 1 bunk bed, this soothing retreat offers a cozy living room with a futon for extra relaxation and sleeping space. Enjoy the convenience of WiFi, heating, AC, a full kitchen and firepit with grill during your stay. The bathroom features a refreshing shower to start your day off right. With your 2 night minimum stay, you receive a complimentary Kevlar canoe of your choice to explore the beauty of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, additional canoes can be rented at our office. We think our place will help you experience everything Ely has to offer, dining, shopping, International Wolf Center, North American Bear Center, museums, ATV / UTV / Snowmobile Prospector Trial system, Mesabi and Trezona Bike Trail System, Hidden Valley Mountain Bike Terrain Park and more.

Great place to stay! This cabin looks brand new! It was a fun place to stay at; it was quiet and comfortable, and very clean. It was stocked full of anything you’d need after an outdoors adventure in the BWCA and/or Ely. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and we cannot wait to book our trip here again next year!!!

Great communication with the host!!! Very clean and very nice accomodations! Great location as a base camp. Definately stay there again.

Fantastic tiny house for large family

Our family of 9 stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Ely and loved it! Tanner was a fantastic host and my kids really enjoyed the tiny house. It’s small but very functional and fun. Ely has a lot to offer. We will stay again!

I was raised here in Ely, MN and grew up in the resort and outfitting businesses. After high school I spent an enlistment in the Army, stationed in Germany where I met and married my wife, Silke, of 30 years, and counting. After returning to the United States, I attended Concordia University, graduating with a degree in Organizational Leadership and Law Enforcement. I worked a full career as a law enforcement officer in the Twin Cites area before retiring. Upon retirement, I followed my dream of owning an outfitter, supported by my amazing wife, we purchased Voyageur North Outfitters in 2021. since that time we planned and added a 4 cabin, three full hook-up RV site resort to our already existing BWCA outfitting business.

Since my childhood, I have always loved the Ely area and the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.

Our cabins and RV sites are located on the very eastern edge of Ely city limits in a wooded, rural setting. Our guests have their own private setting while still having convenient access to all Ely has to offer.
