Family-friendly cabin with stunning wooded views! Enjoy a private hot tub, full kitchen, and handcrafted details throughout—from vanities to light fixtures. Sleeps 8 with a king bed and two twin beds in the loft, a queen bed in the downstairs bedroom, and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Each bedroom features a smart TV, and the twin beds in the loft include personal TVs with headphones for kids to enjoy their own shows. Cozy up by the electric fireplace or relax in the open-concept living area. With two full baths (one on each level), everyone has space to unwind. Step out onto the deck to soak under the stars or gather around the fire pit for s’mores and stories. A peaceful escape with thoughtful touches and custom charm—perfect for couples, families, or a group of friends looking to reconnect with nature in comfort.

The Road Less Traveled (Literally)
Getting to our cozy cabin is part of the adventure! The road is unpaved, uphill, and has a few charming ruts that keep things exciting. You don’t need 4-wheel drive. Just a sense of humor and patience. Don't come in a low riding sports car or motorcycle.

During winter weather, things can get a bit sketchier than your ex’s excuses, so please check in with us first if you’re not rolling with 4WD. We’ll help you decide if you will be able to navigate the road safely.

My family absolutely loved this cabin! We had 4 adults and 2 kids and it was enough room to have separate space along with family time. Everything was well stocked and clean! The hot tub and back deck area was so relaxing with the TV for music or a show. The host communicated on how to get there and made the check in and out process so easy. I would love to recommend this property for another family to stay for a week while visiting Hot Springs!

This place was amazing! A beautiful unique little spot in the forest and looks exactly as listed. There are so many perfect things about this cabin: the hot tub, easy-to-use TV’s in every room (including outside on the deck!), walk in shower, fire pit and swing for children, and the sliding wooden doors! All add a charmto this place that is hard to find. We will be coming back here no doubt about it! We enjoyed every day! Host was extremely easy to communicate with and also very accommodating. We had to modify dates and check out a bit later and he was always understanding and helpful. 10/10!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin! It’s conveniently located just about 15 minutes from downtown Hot Springs, making it easy to explore while still enjoying a peaceful setting. The cabin was well-stocked with dishes and cooking utensils, which made meals simple and stress-free. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like coffee pods, ground coffee, snacks, and even a bottle of wine waiting for us—such a nice surprise! It truly made our stay feel extra special.

The cabin had plenty of room for all 6 of us to spread out and enjoy ourselves. The road up to the cabin is curvy and steep but the area is quiet and peaceful. Everything was clean and well stocked from extra blankets to kitchen staples.The owner reached out a couple of times due to weather which was very nice. We have already recommended the cabin to several friends.

We stayed for Labor Day weekend. The cabin is so clean and everything feels like it’s brand new. The upstairs bedroom is lovely and we woke up to the calming peaceful view out of the big windows. The little beds up stairs are so sweet for kiddos or adults! Each has their own tv with personal light and a headset each! That is so thoughtful! There is a balcony outside of the upstairs bedroom which is really nice to sit at. The upstairs bathroom is great. The living room area is so comfortable, but we mostly sat outside on the back deck. The back deck has many seating options and the amazing hot tub. We turned all the lights off at night and enjoyed star gazing and the hot tub so much. There is also a fire pit at the front of the house, with a charcoal grill and seating area and a swing. We had so many choices of lovely outdoor places to sit, we wanted to try them all!! The kitchen is fully stocked with spices, coffee, tea etc, very thoughtful. The coffee machine is fabulous! We want to buy one for ourselves now!The downstairs bathroom is so luxurious, the huge shower is wonderful. So many towels were provided and they were really thick & luxurious. A really nice touch was his and hers bath robes, that was great for getting in and out of the hot tub! The downstairs bedroom is lovely too, but we didn’t sleep down there. The barn doors provided a luxurious touch to the whole place.Highly recommend this cabin, we will return, thank you.

My husband and I were looking for someplace quiet and relaxing to unwind for a few days. This house and property were exactly what we were looking for. The house has a very homey feeling which made it easy to just relax and enjoy our down time. It’s very well equipped but we honestly didn’t take the time to cook. Its location is great! It’s out of the way but close enough to restaurants to go grab a bite if you’d rather not cook. We also really enjoyed the hot tub at the end of the day. The views from the front porch and/or the back deck were beautiful. Communication with the host was an added bonus, everything ran smoothly. I asked for Restaurant recommendations and he was very helpful. We would definitely recommend this home and the host and hope to go back someday.

Red Sunset Cabin was absolutely perfect for what we needed for our family and for my birthday trip. The cabin itself had privacy, beautiful scenery, a wonderful hot tub with antislip coating (jets get excited if the water gets a little low from use so definitely lower the cover when not in use just in case), plenty of seating throughout the home, and plenty of tv options for relaxed viewing. The home was well stocked with spices, utensils, coffee needs, and so much more. The front swing and firepit area was perfect for smores so don't forget your marshmellow sticks. The drive to the cabin is a bit steep but we had no problems at all in my Toyota Highlander. The directions to the cabin were precise and the owners were very easy to contact if needed. Ron Coleman Crystal mines and Hot Springs is just a 15min striaght drive from this location, so very easy to navigate. They also have a wonderful water sprayer to rinse your finds before heading home. The only thing that could have made it better for us would have been a slightly larger mattress in the individual room downstairs. Beyond that a perfect stay for us. Thank you for sharing your home and hospitality with us.

We booked a weekend getaway and enjoyed our time away. There is a lot of great things about this property and a few not so great things. GREAT THINGSHome is clean and accommodatingLocation is close to townCabin is cozy and warmNOT SO GREAT THINGSNo washer or dryer Hot tub leaks like crazyNeighbors are VERY closeNot a private cabin in the woodsUpon check in, The door code that was provided to us did not work. We made several attempts to use the provided door code until it locked us out. The owner could probably see us through the ring camera at the front door, Owner called us and acted baffled as to why the door code didn't work, Luckily he had a key hidden that he directed us to. Washer and dryer are non existent, listing stated that the unit included a washer and dryerParking is very close to road way and neighbors house

We are happy that you enjoyed your stay but wish we had been able to fully accommodate your needs. Unfortunately mechanical things break beyond our control that have to be repaired. We ordered a new washer/dryer set last week but the delivery guys went to wrong address which delayed the delivery. It was installed yesterday. The hot tub motor developed a leak and is under warranty and being replaced tomorrow. Not sure why there was a problem with the door code as I went to check on it and it opened correctly. Yes there are houses in the vicinity but we have never experienced any problems or privacy issues with the neighbors. We provide a privacy fence for the deck and hot tub area. We do our best to accommodate every guest in the best way possible. Fortunately we provided instructions on how to use the hot tub by just adding some water occasionally and also an offer to take care of any laundry needs. Sorry for any inconveniences on your trip but rest assured these items have been repaired or in the process of being repaired this week.
