Absolutely loved our stay!!My husband and I came with our best friends and 4 of our adult kids with their plus ones to celebrate my birthday. The home was absolutely adorable, spacious, clean, cozy with a fun unique charm. It was very well stocked with everything we needed, it was decorated amazingly and had very comfortable beds!!We had plenty of room to spread out in our own rooms and had fun comfortable and cozy areas to hang out together. My favorite spot was the window seat in the main room! Beautiful location, tucked away and peaceful but still simple and easy to get out and into town. We will definitely stay again if we come back. Amazing care & response from the host as well! You can tell they really care about and take pride in this property.

We enjoyed our Family Reunion at this location! There were plenty of rooms, a well stocked bathroom/kitchen, and beautiful property to walk around. We also enjoyed the area-- Silverton Train ride; Durango restaurants; and a trip to Mesa Verde National Park. The communication was wonderful as well!

Our family of 16 spent a week here for our yearly trip. The home was perfect for our large group. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. So many ways to cook inside and out. The host was wonderful from booking to the very last day. This is one of the best stays we have had. We will be making another trip here in the future.

Well appointed beautiful home, we lacked nothing. Home was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Gorgeous setting with a babbling creek that can be heard from the back deck. Other cabins near by sharing the outdoor space but nonintrusive. Our party of seven enjoyed the hot tub and animal sightings, a fox, a deer and all the blue jays that greeted us every morning. This is a lovely property that we definitely would return to again.

This house has been one of the best homes we have stayed at. The house is clean and spacious. It accommodated perfectly a family of 18. Our host Aiyana was very welcoming and accommodated every need my family had. Definitely recommend this home and would rent again.

Durango Escape sums up a fantastic week. Our family included all ages from kiddos to grandparents. The house worked out beautifully with plenty of spaces to be all together along with quiet spots to read a book or catch up on work. We are a family that likes to cook together. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Outside cooking included a Gas grill, a pellet grill and a Blackstone. No one had experience with a Blackstone so we jumped right in cooking whole meals for the 13 of us. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. So many things to do in the Durango area. Trails for biking and hiking, floating in the Animas River, swimming at Lake Nighthorse, the train to Silverton or a trip to Mesa Verde National Park.We appreciated how easy it was to contact our host. She was knowledgeable about the house and area.

The home is amazing. They really paid attention to the little things, like Kleenex, shampoos & conditioners, along with lotions, make-up wipes, paper towels, throws, we had it all. The cleanliness of the home is above & beyond!!! It’s comfortable and so beautifully decorated! My family couldn’t quick thanking me for finding such a great place. It’s so convenient to town and yet it feels like you’re staying in the mountains. We would gladly come here again. We are thinking reserving the lower level basement just for me and my husband. It’s the most amazing place. With its own entrance and complete living quarters. Thank you so very much for providing our family with a wonderful experience! We will remember our family trip forever. And most definitely recommend it to everyone.

Wonderful Family Stay

We enjoy this beautiful big house that accommodated our group of 11. There was plenty of room, everyone enjoyed their bedrooms, and the kitchen was very well equipped. My sons loved grilling on the Blackstone. We all enjoyed the creek and hot tub. We even saw a bear forging along the creek. We had a wonderful family gathering and would return again one day.

Our time here was great! Durango had a lot of family friendly places and activities to do. The house was perfect for large parties we arrived on a Sunday and stayed through Friday. Plenty of restrooms and kitchens and lots of seating and gathering places. We were a family of 14 and could have easily added a few more people to our group in this house. We did have a plumbing issues on day one, the host were on it and had plumbers out that night. It took a little time but host communicated with us well and we were back up and running with full usage of all restrooms and kitchens by Tuesday night. Host sent out cleaning crew to sanitize and restock towels, which was wonderful. I would also like to add that this house was so well stocked including crockpot, espresso machine, ninja and more. Also plenty of paper towels, detergent, trash bags and so on. It was so nice to not have to worry about the little things with such a big group. For those who are interested in wildlife the following animals were spotted by various people in our group at the house:-Black bear-Deer and fawn- Prairie dog- lots of birds- Rafter of turkeys- one run in with a beautiful fox literally ran into my dad in the middle of the night on the front porch So many great memories were made!!! We had an amazing stay here! Not only is the house beautiful with so much space, but there were so many nice touches that made it perfect. The kitchen was fully stocked, including Tupperware, there were plenty of towels, trash bags, laundry detergent pods, etc. We even asked about a baby gate at one point and the host brought us one the next morning! I would highly recommend this property. My family from Texas was worried about the lack of AC but there are so many windows available to open at night that kept the house a very pleasant temperature! Seriously, cannot recommend this stay enough!

This property is beautifully appointed with every kitchen utensil you could possibly need. We were able to spread out for quiet personal time and had plenty of space to gather for meals, games and conversation. With two younger kids along the outdoor spaces gave us room to play ball and generally run around. We didn’t bring a pet but thought we could have with no difficulty. Thank you for a wonderful birthday trip!

We had a wonderful experience. House was beautiful, clean, and spacious. We enjoyed the property, creek, and Mountain views. Beds were comfortable, and kitchen was stocked with everything anyone could possibly need. Hot tub was a fun way to unwind after days of hiking and exploring in Durango.
