It was a lovely stay. It smelled wonderful from the time we walked in and you can see the care and love that put into the home. Host was very friendly. I even forgot some items and they graciously mailed them back to me.

This is a cute little house in a quiet location, and it definitely met our needs for the stay. I will definitely consider staying here again if we come back to Durango!

Suzannah stayed in our Farmhouse and, unfortunately, brought additional guests beyond what was originally booked. When we reached out to her to address the issue, she eventually acknowledged the mistake and took responsibility, promptly resolving it by covering the additional fees. While we appreciate her honesty and willingness to make it right, we kindly ask that future guests adhere to the booking terms from the start to ensure a smooth experience for everyone.

A lovely, peaceful place to stay

The farmhouse is a lovely, quaint property located below the Hermosa cliffs in the Animas river valley. We were very comfortable and had a lovely time. The owner/hostess was very helpful and nice and we intend on returning here in the future.

Summer visit to Durango

Cute older farmhouse. Very clean and decorated to represent a historic past. Excellent location and privacy yet close enough to go into Durango every day.

Anniversary

Spent 5 nights here for our 55 anniversary. Great base for doing the sights,. Loved the house beyond words> Lana is a joy to work with.

Best Part of Our Visit

Very nice home. We loved having the fireplace in the living room for a couple of rainy days and chilly evenings. The location was perfect for viewing deer, turkeys and the occasional fox.

Cozy cottage

Lovely home, quirky furnishings. Met the sweet horses across the street. Great view from hot tub. All in all a great stay.

Wonderful farmhouse!

A perfect place to stay and explore the Durango area! Wonderful farmhouse close to downtown Durango that can be used as a home base to see Mesa Verde and all the other places to visit in the area. We loved hearing the Durango/Silverton train whistle echo across the property and the wild turkeys that came though most mornings. Magical place!

Perfect Peaceful Getaway in Durango!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming farmhouse in Durango! The home was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We especially loved the peaceful setting—beautiful views, quiet mornings, and plenty of space to unwind. The location was perfect for exploring the area, including the Durango & Silverton train ride and nearby hiking trails. Our hosts were kind and responsive. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with a touch of charm!

Such a comfortable house with a huge yard! Spent some afternoons lying on a blanket in the yard watching the wild turkeys. It was super quick to get into town. You can hear the train whistle from the house. Will return!

Nice & quiet

Very nice property and very well equipped. Owner has made sure you have everything you need for your stay and is very accommodating. Lovely quiet area. We had a visit from about 10 very large deer one morning in front yard...exciting!

“A charming Victorian farmhouse” it is, and wonderfully so.

The farmhouse is all we hoped for, and the setting is beautiful in the most Southwesternly way possible, looking out on the Animas River Valley with its Colorado-red cliffs and open-to-the-universe skies. The host is near enough to be honestly attentive to all we needed.
