This modern new construction, A-frame cottage in Muskegon offers 3 cozy bedrooms and a fourth sleeping space or in-home office, including 2 queen beds, 2 XL twin beds (which can be transitioned into a King Sized bed upon request), and 1 premium queen sofa bed with a memory foam mattress. With 3 bathrooms equipped with a bathtub and shower, guests can relax and unwind in this marvelous retreat. Enjoy modern amenities like WiFi, AC, an EV charger and a washing/drying machine during your stay. Whether you're looking for a serene getaway or a fun-filled adventure, this stunning cottage is the perfect home base for your trip. This retreat is just as good in the fall with the warm lake temperatures and stunning fall colors. Amazing house just a five-minute walk from the beach! I traveled with my wife and two kids and we really enjoyed the home. It's stylish, clean, and has plenty of room. The hosts were terrific - communicative, hospitable, and friendly. This is a great home to rent to enjoy a Michigan summer.

What a BEAUTIFUL home! Everything was brand new, with plenty of sun light and enough space for our families. It's in the best location right across from the beach and park. Close to the pier to walk and watch the boats. Kids loved playing in the sand and having bon fires! The host was very quick to reply. The check-in and check-out process was a breeze. They truly made it feel like a home away from home!Will definitely be staying here again!

Leigh was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. All the little details, from welcome goodies to plenty of extra hygiene items in the bathrooms, were so thoughtful. The A frame itself was so cozy while providing plenty of room for our whole group. Thanks so much for a wonderful getaway!

We LOVED our stay at this location for our first visit to Michigan. Easy walking distance to the beach & fun restaurant (with kids). The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe. The A-frame was lovely. I loved all of the little details put into the design & decor. The owners were very responsive and thought of every little extra we would need. Hoping to go back in the future!

This place is SO clean and beautiful and enchanting! I'm smitten. During our stay we were so impressed that we started planning our next return trip. The kitchen is a high class, functional kitchen. Chris and I (age 53) slept on the pull out sofa and it was actually COMFORTABLE. We chose this property because of it's charm in the photos, and it's ability to serve our 83 year old mom, with the main level bed room and bathroom with a low threshold shower. It had enough beds to accommodate our adult kids and our mom. It looks even better in person than in the photos. If you stay, take good care of this little gem of a house because we want to return to enjoy it:) Carlos and Leigh were attentive to our needs and very professional. The one concern we had was taken care of promptly and professionally. Be sure to read the framed image with note at the top of the stairs. It explains a very special tree that Carlos incorporated throughout the house. You could make a game out of counting the beautiful pieces he created that are sprinkled around the homse. If the underside of the furniture piece lacks a manufacturer's tag and instead has the pencil marks of a careful artisan, than you found one of his little gems. Leigh has a piece in there too! Enjoy that quick walk to the beach. The BBQ restaurant there with the swings and live music was excellent. There are bikes in the basement. I had foot surgery a month prior and this served me well getting to the beach.

This home was adorable, immaculate, had nice amenities, bikes, place to clean your sandy feet off… everything! She left us some lovely treats that all 7 of us enjoyed. We loved being close enough to the beach that we could walk. We do tons of deer in the mornings all around the home. Our trip was fantastic, but short. We hope to come back sometime during the summer! The hosts were kind enough to ready the sofa bed for us ahead of time, which was so thoughtful.

Our family had the most relaxing stay at this incredible A-frame, which perfectly hits the sweet spot of being a modern yet cozy beach retreat. The house was spotlessly clean, incredibly welcoming, and provided the perfect balance of privacy and togetherness.The open main living space was a huge highlight for us. With a ton of seating, we could easily chat on the couch while some did jigsaw puzzles at the table and others cooked in the kitchen, keeping everyone part of the conversation. When it was time to unwind, there were plenty of comfortable, private sleeping spots for everyone to get a great night's rest.The hosts truly thought of everything, which made traveling with my toddler niece a breeze. They provided a pack-and-play, a wagon, bikes, and even wood for the fire pit. The kitchen was fully loaded with everything we could possibly need, including both a coffee pot and an espresso machine to kickstart our mornings.The location is absolutely unbeatable, sitting just two minutes from multiple playgrounds and the beach, and only a short drive from local stores and several other fantastic beaches. To top it all off, the hosts were phenomenal—incredibly quick to reply to questions and wonderfully accommodating without ever being overbearing. We had zero issues and would book this amazing place again in a heartbeat!

We are a couple from the US (Leigh originally hails from Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Connecticut before moving to Michigan in 1997) and Colombia (Carlos originally hails from Bogota Colombia before moving to Michigan in 1992). We love traveling, cooking, adventuring, biking and hosting. We have four adult children spread all over the place and love being their landing place as they travel to and fro. We love hearing of new places to visit and the stories people offer. Having traveled to many places across the world, we are excited to share this special place on the beautiful coastline of Lake Michigan....the sweet water ocean.

The coastline of Michigan contains many towns and communities. Some of the areas along the coast are well discovered and many people know of them and visit. Muskegon is a less well-known gem with so many year round things to discover. Where else can you swim in the waters of a Great Lake, drive to see the stunning colors in the fall and then explore a Winter Luge Sport Complex in the winter months. It is a quiet neighborhood that allows for peace and calm, while only being a short (bike or car) ride from restaurants and entertainment.

The A-frame design captured our hearts from the very beginning. We took the time to consider our guests in constructing this property. Being cooks ourselves, we tried to include a variety of fun cooking options in our home. In addition, people have the opportunity for privacy, or communal time as the space is well situated for both. We designed and had involvement in the build of this house. You will see the evidence of the large tree that occupied this space in the stair treads, bedside tables and dining room table. It is a house constructed and arranged with our hearts and spirits and we believe you will see the care and love we put into this space. Whether you are a family, a group of friends or a couple looking for a romantic escape, we believe you will find what you are looking for at our home.
