This was a really neat place to stay, and would definitely stay there again. It was nice to be out in the country away from all the busy, and congested places.

The cabin was exactly as advertised, clean, cozy, and close to everything. The hosts were responsive and helpful. Would stay here again.

Black Bear Get Away was beautifully decorated, very clean, and perfectly tucked into the mountains. Gatlinburg was close by as well as Hartford where we rafted. Hot tub and pools were fun. The company even called us mid-stay just to see if we needed anything. We will definitely be back!

Overall, the stay was great! The cabin was very clean and accommodating with towels and activities including the hot tub and game tables. The only issue was the drive to the cabin. 4WD is a must to even get up the driveway, the drive is steep and narrow on the road. The driveway is very steep and you possibly will spin, so some gas and 4WD is needed. That was the only downfall, it was considerably a little bit of a safety risk, but mountains do require you to climb. Besides that, the place was great and the host was great at communicating and answering any questions!!

I suggest four wheel drive or all wheel drive for this location, the driveway is very, very steep with a tight turn near the very top. Absolutely stunning cabin. Beautiful mountain. We got to see a bear cub while driving up and down the mountain (to and from our cabin) twice. Hot tub was clean and ready for use. The king size bed upstairs is very comfortable, the queen bed on lower level is not as comfortable. We thought that we would have more of a view of the mountains from our cabin, and that there are quite a few ants. We bought ant traps and they are helping, but I do not trust any of our food that is not completely sealed....

Washing machine had pods clogged inside. But cleaned out Then okay The dryer had so much lint it could not dry cleaned the door and the filter the best I could but the dryer still didn’t dry ( 2 towel at a time to dry in 60 minutes) to much electricity ( unnecessary ) Ice maker was slow and it looks like it’s going to fall off the wall ( someone could get electriocuted) Need to label all switches in each room and how to used the oven The hot tub was not used the filter looked green ( please get rid of the tore up top that looks awful and really hurts the view outside Update would be nice. I will not say anything about driveway but the Lord’s Prayer was said twice a day
