The smell in the room was so strong of cleaning chemical it gave me a headache. The Air conditioner had visible mold on the surface and in the vents blowing air. The shower had what appeared to be spit on the shower wall. The host who checked me in was friendly. We didn’t stay as we both didn’t feel good after being there less than an hour. I didn’t think to take photos but just needed to get fresh air. The caulking around the tub also had mold in it and the tub was stained. All in all even for the rate it wasn’t worth staying.

If you're used to staying at the hilton garden inn, this is definitely something that you should reconsider. The true meaning of itchy scratchy hotels!! Burnholes in bed covers, stains in the toilet in shower, the floors hadn't been washed in months, there was head grease all over the wood headboard. Thankfully I brought my own bedding just in case. We were trying to be frugal and will not make that choice again in the future. I don't understand why. Even the cheap hotels don't keep to a certain cleanliness standard. With the event going on the war, many choices for hotels and I took what was available. I think I would have rather stayed in my car!
