Irish Hospitality In County Door!

Our charming Irish rental is an ideal getaway spot for two. Newly renovated with gorgeous hardwood floors, luxurious king sized bed, and a flat screen television. The spacious layout includes a three piece bathroom (stand up shower, toilet and sink), a full kitchen, a washer/dryer and even a private balcony. Located above O'Meara's Irish House, O'Meara's Cottage Loft has been welcoming guests since 2006, all to rave reviews. Guests love the homey feel of the loft and the privacy and quiet it offers. While staying at O'Meara's, guests enjoy a 20% discount to our store as well as an Irish food basket with treats from Ireland (brown bread, oatmeal, tea, coffee, jam, biscuits, etc.) We are also dog friendly. Our four legged guests are welcomed with their own food and water bowl and gourmet dog treats. We also feature a library of books and movies, cable TV, DVD player, high speed Internet, air conditioning, heat, complimentary local calls, fax service, concierge service. We are here to make your stay memorable and enjoyable. Rely on our expert knowledge of the area for dinner recommendations, as well as recommendations on what to see and do. We look forward to having you stay at our lovely home away from home.

The space was absolutely amazing and just perfect for us. The property owners communicated frequently in a caring way but allowed us the privacy we desired. We will return next year for another great experience.

Our Stay in Fish Creek

Our stay in Fish Creek at O’Meara’s was fantastic! The loft is in the perfect spot, close to town but not too close. Megan’s hospitality was wonderful & the place was perfect for our getaway to Door County. We will definitely be returning in the future!

Wonderful dog-friendly accommodation

We have stayed at O’Meara’s Irish cottage many times. It’s our go-to if it’s just the two of us. It’s always clean with plenty of towels, kitchen appointments, and reliable WiFi (barring any storms). Specialty shampoo, conditioner, and soap are supplied. The only minor drawbacks are the stairs, which are a bit annoying when bringing us luggage, and the small AC unit when it gets very hot and humid. There is a small fan which helps circulate the cooler air. Other than that, it’s a great spot in a good location to explore up and down the “ thumb.”

The Irish House

A wonderful host! Cozy little retreat with all the amenities you need. Great location! Absolutely relaxing amongst the tall cedars and pines. We loved our stay.

Door county get away

This property is so cute. It’s was the perfect amount of space for two adults and two little dogs. It’s in the edge of Fish Creek, you can still walk downtown, but it’s quiet. We loved it

Excellent sleep accommodations, super clean, beautiful flowers & Irish snacks upon arrival (nice added touches). Nice fluffy, absorbent towels. New shower stall & washer & dryer. Location walking to everything Fish Creek has to offer. We can't wait to return next year. Feels just like home!

My stay was perfect. Megan’s the best host offering amazing hospitality with a basket of Irish goodies to snack on. It was very quiet and comfortable. Great and convenient location. Perfect! I’ll be back.

Great Irish Hospitality

We enjoyed our stay in Megan O'Meara's Loft as much as we did the last time. The apartment contained everything we needed, including a can opener and a corkscrew (not mentioned in the list of amenities). The easy walk to restaurants, shopping, and the State Park hiking trails was appreciated. Loved the upgrades since our last vist!

Cozy Irish Loft

We loved staying & shopping at O’Meara’s Irish House & Cottage Loft in Door County, WI for three nights to celebrate my 60th birthday! Welcomed by a gift basket of Irish bread & jam, coffee, tea, cookies, chocolate & chips. We slept well in the King size bed in peaceful setting. Exemplary service and wide selection of Irish sweaters, clothing, jewelry and china in O’Meara’s Irish Shop. Megan’s genuine, kind hospitality made our stay exceptional!

Perfect Get-Away

This was our second time staying here and we loved it just as much as the first time. Megan is always so conscientious and accommodating and that was even more evident during this visit. The apartment is far enough from everything to feel super private and peaceful but yet close enough to walk to so many things. This interior is immaculate and I appreciated all of the extra cleaning procedures that have been implemented. Allowing our furry friend to join us is just the icing on the cake. We'll be back!

Enjoyed our repeat stay!

Perfect dog-friendly getaway to Door County

My wife and I had such a great time staying at the studio with our pup. We absolutely loved the location and the Irish shop downstairs. Megan and her dad were so friendly and welcoming, we enjoyed chatting with them every time we saw them around the shop. We can’t wait to get back to DC and hope to stay here again!

Enjoyed our return stay to this beautiful vacation spot!

We had another beautiful weekend in Fish Creek- wonderful centrally located rental. Walking distance to Peninsula State Park, shops, and restaurants. Easy drive to lots of fun spots in Door County. Love that this location is so pet friendly- truly a home away from home.

Home away from home

I just loving staying here! I brought my 2 boys for the first time (4 & 11 months). It was perfect for us. It's so quaint and you feel at home. I love that after store hours (store below), we had a huge empty parking lot for my son to ride his bike on while I sat on the lower porch with my wine :) Megan is a delight - very accommodating and just overall lovely! We could walk to places to eat, a local coffee shop, small beach and park entrance. Amazing location and cannot wait to say again!
