What a bummer the weather didn’t cooperate during your stay! However, the cloudy weather had no effect to the pool operation. The pool is not ran off the solar panels as you stated in your review, so the heat should have worked in full operation when guests follow the simple step by step instructions in our Digital Welcome Guide that was shared with you to operate the brand new AquaLink pool system. We wish your communication about this was shared during your stay so we could have walked you through the proper use! We do apologize for the inconvenience of the grill not being in working use, as we communicated to you during your stay, the guests that left the day before your check-in date had a major problem with the grill causing safety concerns and the company couldn’t get out to service before your stay. For the safety of our guests, we didn’t feel comfortable having guests use the grill until it was serviced. We hope your overall stay with the other amenities our home and the use of the golf cart made your trip in Siesta Key an enjoyable one. Thank you for taking care of our home and great guests!

We appreciate your honest feedback. We hope overall you enjoyed your stay at Sweet Rae, despite some of the miscommunications. We truly apologize about the grill being inoperable (it caused a very serious safety concern with a former guest & safety is our #1 priority). At the bottom of paragraph 3 of the listing description, it does state the grill is no longer usable to guests. But you are correct, it was not updated in the Welcome Guide you received after booking—our sincere apologies for that! As for the pool/spa heat, we will definitely be looking into your feedback about it not feeling like the set temperature. As for the requested temperature limit, we have that for the pool system’s longevity as it’s the recommended setting also. But as hosts, we are very open to meeting the needs of our guests and would have been happy to help you in the adjustment of the temperature. The access to the heat from afar is in case it gets left on while the property is vacant. We are sorry the pool/spa temperature didn’t meet your expectation, but if there would be a next time, please reach out, we truly want the best for our guests! Again, we hope overall this home was enjoyable during your time in Siesta Key. We enjoyed having you as guests and appreciate the feedback!
