Great little apartment in the perfect location to explore Woodstock. I didn't have a car & it was very easy to walk to great restaurants and shops.

This was the perfect place to stay for our visit to Woodstock. It was centrally located, an easy walk to everywhere in town. Also, we were driving an electric vehicle, and this apartment is directly across the street from the municipal parking lot, which has 2 EV charging bays. Parking in the back of the building was a plus. We would stay there again.

Groovy is the coolest little place to stay right in the convenient center of Woodstock. Located above shops and within walking distance to most restaurants, shopping and of course the popular music venue Colony where you can catch great live music almost every night of the week. Try out their delicious Smash burger and fries. Michael was extremely helpful, communicative and accommodating to me when I had a family emergency and requested extra support in a very difficult time. Thank you Michael!

The host did not provide access until after 7:30, with a 5 pm check-in; we were already arranging alternate accommodations with VRBO when the host finally communicated. The place itself was fine, but there was only one mug in the kitchen. Maybe we should have brought our own? The kitchen floor was tilted, and it felt a little like a roller coaster in there. The location was the best part of the stay. The place was clean and the bed comfortable, and we enjoyed the porch facing the town center.

Place was as described. Small 1 bedroom apartment right in downtown Woodstock. Great location. Space was perfect for my daughter and I. Loved the decorations.

Check in was very easy. Michael O was very accommodating and responded right away with any questions. The place was very clean and all appliances seemed to be new.

Overall, this is a 5-star experience! This apartment is perfect for 1-2 people for a quick getaway to Woodstock. The location for those wanting to stay right in town is PERFECT. Right off the main street, so all the joy of easy walkable access without as much busyness right outside your door.Pros: Very affordable, smack dab in the middle of down, A/C unit is wall unit but cooled down the apartment amazingly (plus there is an extra fan in the bathroom!), full kitchen w/ coffee pot included (a bit small if you are trying to cook a full meal but still doable).Not quite pros or cons, but worth noting: 1. Again, great location & feels spacious for what it is. But it is definitely a spot to stay if your plan is being out & about most of the trip. 2. The bathroom is quite small. I live in NYC, so didn't phase me much, but good to note before your stay.3. Michael was so nice & communicative. He even checked in with us throughout the stay. GREAT HOST. One thing I will say is you might not get much contact from host until day of check-in, so if you aren't getting responses to your messages before, don't worry about that. He'll respond once it's time for your trip!

As a long time VRBO user I can safely say that this was the very BEST overall experience I’ve had. From the moment I arrived at the property (located in the epicenter of all Woodstock activities) until I walked into the unit (looks even *better* in person) I was blown away!! Incredibly tidy, well appointed and super cozy it was everything I could have asked for and more!I have already booked two additionalStays here and have recommended all my friends to do the same! A 10/10 Hudson Valley experience!

The unit is in a building on a commercial street, with storefronts on the first floor, four short term rentals on the second floor and an attic which houses some number of service workers, who come and go and make noise at all times of day and night. There is very little noise isolation from them. Worst of all, their frequently used bathroom is located directly above the bed in the unit. I booked the unit for four nights and ended up leaving after the first night because I could barely get any sleep with all the noise.

Our property has received many positive reviews over for being comfortable and peaceful, and we take great pride in maintaining that standard. The location cannot be beat, right in the center of Woodstock where you can walk to all the shops and restaurants. The apartment is furnished with all that you need for a short stay and well appointed. What people have not mentioned in their reviews is: 1) The whole building looks hundreds of years old---including the very warped wooden floors which you will notice when walking. Beware if you have mobility issues. 2) 1 flight of stairs to get to the apartment 3) Worst of all the noise---you will hear every car, truck and conversation that happens outside the windows. AND you will hear the upstairs tenant move across the creaky floors which happened at 12 am, 1 am, 2, am, 3 am and 6 am when they get ready for the day each day. I did not have a restful stay. If you are not a light sleeper, this may not bother you at all.

Michaels place was right in the center of town, great location. The apartment is small but cozy. Not too loud as others have posted and there were blinds on the windows so it was not too bright in the morning. The kitchen and fridge were clean and everything was easy to use. Water pressure was great and could get hot if you want. Stairs are relatively steep so something to keep in mind if you have mobility issues. Bring extra towels as there were only two relatively small bath towels, and no hand towels at all. Overall though nice experience.
