Streamside Cottage Half Mile to Town of Woodstock
Our stream side cottage is privately located on five park-like acres that are landscaped with beautiful gardens. Guests have access to the stream where you can swim, skip rocks, or simply sit and meditate on the nature all around you. We are less than a mile from the center of Woodstock, where you can find a wonderful assortment of restaurants, shops, art galleries and activities.
The cottage has everything you need to relax and enjoy a private getaway in the Hudson Valley. Our guests have all told us how perfectly situated this spot is.
Woodstock is an hour from the airports in Albany and Newburgh, 2.5 hours from JFK, Newark, and La Guardia airports, and a two hour drive from Manhattan. We are also in the area for popular ski areas - Belleayre - Windham and Hunter mountains.
The photos are accurate. The cottage is a separate building from the main house. The cottage building is part of a two car garage and is totally private. The main house is located on the property next door but not connected. We have a camera on our house pointing up the driveway, and none on or around the cottage.
At Green Pastures Stream side Cottage our focus is on providing a pristine and safe environment for our guests.
Note that the stream access is limited since the wall you see is a retaining wall and not steps down to the stream. At different times of the year the water can be mellow, or raging after a storm. The dynamic view and sound of the water is the thrill of the property. If you would like direct access into to the stream please inquire with us.
Newly renovated. Complete new bathroom and custom shower. All rooms painted and fresh new feel.
The cottage is under two miles from the Levon Helm Ramble music center. And three miles from the Bearsville Theatre.
There is an EV charging station about 1/2 mile away in Bradley Meadows. ChargePoint Charging Station
The cottage has a back up generator.
The lock for the BACK sliding door is at the bottom of the track.
The utensils for the BBQ are in the hall closet.
LED lanterns are also in the closet just in case.

Great location that feels secluded but is within walking distance to town. Nice to fall asleep with the windows open to the sounds of the stream.

It was the perfect place for a weekend away from home! The location was only a few minutes from town and was the perfect size for a couple. Would definitely reccomend!

Cottage was really nice. Very clean, organized, and if anything, even nicer looking than the listing. Opens out onto a beautiful stream to sit by and relax. Owner, Jane, was great to communicate with and check in was a breeze. Literally minutes from downtown Woodstock which had some surprisingly legit great restaurants. Awesome water pressure in the shower too which is always a plus.Plenty of hiking near by and im sure other stuff that we were not there long enough to explore.Would definitely stay here again if we were looking to revisit the area

Jane was welcoming and the property was a little piece of heaven on earth! I felt totally at home! I could keep my own hours and Jane was only a text away if I needed something. My favorite part was having lunch on the deck, outback, watching and listening to the creek! So very peaceful and relaxing!

Jane has created a lovely oasis. Very close to all Woodstock has to offer, completely self-contained space that you could just relax here and have a restful vacation.

Our three night stay at this wonderful cottage by a stream was perfect and very relaxing. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. Located very close to the shops and restaurants in Woodstock but still gave us the isolation we wanted when we were at the cottage. Jane was wonderful and accommodating. Check in and check out was a breeze. We would definitely recommend this house if you are visiting the area.

Another wonderful stay. Cottage was perfect. Even a rainy day can't ruin a stay at this place. Highly recommend this place.

Everything was clean. The host was communicative throughout the process. She even sent a list of places to go/eat. A wonderful experience.

Jane is a great host and provided great communication and very warm and thoughtful amenities at the cottage. We loved staying here! The bed is very comfortable, everything was clean, the decor felt like home, and the views of the woods and creek were excellent. Can't wait to come back.

Great stay. Excellent location with easy access to Woodstock and local hiking. Perfect getaway. Would definitely stay again, next time we’re in the area.

Totally delightful!
This is a fantastic property. We came to attend two nights of music at Levon Helm Studios, which is just down the road.
While the property is close to all that the village of Woodstock has to offer visitors, I can easily see just staying at the cabin and enjoying the beauty of the stream and woods.
It's charming, immaculate, and I can't wait to return!

Just the perfect place to unwind after time in the city. Location is ideal and a short walk into Woodstock. Only regret is not booking for longer.

Idyllic property free of distractions. Clean cottage and the check-in process was simple and easy. The host responded to my communications very quickly. I will stay there again.

Clean, comfortable space with plenty of room for the two of us. Beautiful creek running behind the property where we sat each evening - and not at all buggy during our stay in mid-July. Sufficiently stocked with dishware/cookware/essentials. We rode our bikes on the Ashokan Reservoir Trail and hiked at Mohonk Preserve - both short drives away. Woodstock Meats has excellent deli sandwiches. Hannafords Grocery store a 10 minute drive away. Beautiful spot! Jane our host was very personable. Highly recommend this cozy cottage.
