The Cottage located minutes from the village of Saugerties and nearby Woodstock, offers a combination of privacy and convenience in a beautiful country setting.

Some nearby attractions are the HITS Equestrian Showgrounds, The Lazy Swan Golf Course and Country Club, and just up the road from the Kaatsbaan Lodge (home of Total Tennis). The location provides easy access to hiking trails, world-class golfing, tennis, pickleball and other recreational activities, making it an ideal retreat for those who love the outdoors. The area is also known for skiing and other Catskills outdoor adventures.

The Cottage features a private outdoor area with a garden, lawn, BBQ grill, furnished deck with a heating lamp, a hammock, and a fire pit.

This was a sweet and beautiful little cottage! We liked how close it was to everything but yet felt like a little getaway just for the 2 of us. I would say it needed 2 things to be absolutely perfect - a memory foam mattress pad (very hard bed) and a toaster oven to complement the mini fridge and microwave. Even without those things, we would still definitely return - a very nice place to stay!!!

Lovely small cottage close to awesome hikes. Its by a road thats kinda busy so dog should be kept on a lead

Thank you! We’re glad you enjoyed the cottage and the nearby hikes. Just to clarify, the road to the left of the property is very quiet with almost no traffic. We always do recommend keeping dogs on a leash near any road for safety. We hope to welcome you back again!

Very cute and quaint cottage. Super clean and hooked up nice with water, tea, and coffee. The view was nice and the area is super chill with plenty of places to check out for eating, shopping, and entertainment. The hippie vibe is definitely still alive in Woodstock as if 1969 never ended. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Perfect cottage.

The cottage was very clean, cozy and super comfortable. Perfect for a long weekend or quick getaway. Looking forward to my next stay as Marie and her husband are exceptional hosts.

The property was spotless. We enjoyed that it was a bit secluded, avoiding noisy highways and yet still convenient to tour sites in the Hudson Valley. The security system added to feeling safe. It felt cozy. The host could not have been better with communication.My only bit of concern is that the description accurately spells out 1 bedroom and 1 Bath. That is the entire interior of the cottage with no real place to sit and relax without sitting/lying on the bed. We have small dog who made himself right at home.

Overnight stay

We just had an overnight stay, but it was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Loved the big trees out front. Took a little walk down the road, love the country!

Cozy comfortable cabin.

We had a very comfortable stay for the second time. Amazing spot with seating behind the cabin overlooking the meadow. Panoramic views of the mountains and the changing colors in the leaves.

Wonderful experience!

The pipes were frozen at the original place, but they were kind enough to upgrade our stay. The mountain view was gorgeous, and the staff were extremely nice.

Perfect get away

We stayed here for a night away from the city and to explore Woodstock. It was a perfect, little cottage..tucked away in the woods. Clean and convenient. Thank you!

Cute and cozy!

My husband and I had a lovely stay at The Cottage! It was so pretty, the bed was super-comfortable, and it was nice to have the fridge in which to keep a few snacks. We also enjoyed being able to make coffee. The location was perfect, and the host, Marie was great! She responded very quickly to our questions and was lovely to work with. Unfortunately, we weren't able to take advantage of the porch or grill, as it was quite chilly and raining, but it surely would be a relaxing place to sit on a quiet evening. We highly recommend The Cottage!
