January and February 2027 Monthly rental $6500 per month.
One of the largest villas at Bahia Mar, Ground Floor, Private Patio with Private Pool! Bahia Mar has been restored to a beautiful complex with 2 New Swimming Pools, Beach Front Sundeck, Sitting Areas, Children Playground, a Beautiful Walkway has replaced the riverwalk. 24 Hour Security Guards at entrance.


****PLEASE NOTE: Babies and infants count toward the total occupancy of a reservation. Unfortunately, guests will be denied access if over the maximum number of people.
Number of guests will depend on number of people on the inquiry, no extra will be added. Children under the age of 4 will be counted as an occupant.
Parking Notes
Renters are allowed two parking permits.
An additional temporary parking permit can be issued ONLY if authorized by New Bahia Mar Management for the renting party and for a $80.00 fee per vehicle. Parking is limited and permits must be displayed at all times.
HOUSE RULES:

● Maximum occupancy limit: 12 guests (including children 12 and under)
● No invited Guests are allowed.
● Must provide valid ID to enter property
● No smoking allowed
● Minimum age to rent is 21
● All people are required to wear wristbands.
● Check in begins at 4:00 pm. Check out time is 10:00 am.
● This is a pet friendly unit. If you plan to bring a pet, please be sure that you selected the option and pay the $180 pet fee.
● Rental includes two parking permits. Additional temporary parking permit may be purchased on site for an additional fee. Boats and trailers are allowed into the property for an extra fee. No R.V.`s or motor homes will be allowed on property.
● Our rental properties are family oriented. Good behavior is expected from our guests, respect for property rules and other guests. No parties allowed.
● We kindly request that guests respect the Resort/HOA rules. Failure to comply with their house policies is grounds for eviction from the property.

We had an amazing time at this condo. There was 12 of us, mostly couples, and we all fit perfectly. Despite the weather we had a great time. The condo was spacious and very clean. We didn't have many issues but when we did the owner responded promptly. We will definitely be planning another trip and want to stay here again.

Great place!

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was excellence at this time of the year as there was hardly any other people at the property. Highly recommended.

Awesome Family Vacation Condo

We so enjoyed our stay in this condo. It is particularly roomy for the money and was the perfect place to make many lasting family memories. The patio with a pool was a great outdoor living spot enjoyed by all. The kitchen is very well stocked. The beach is just a few steps away and the grounds of the resort are absolutely beautiful. We had a few issues which were promptly taken care of by Lu Lu. She is very quick to get back with you and does her best to work with anything that needs attention.Thank you LuLu for taking very good care of us and we look forward to coming back next year.

Great vacation

We had a wonderful time at the Bahia Mar resort. The Villa was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location of this villa is excellent since the tower and other condos are very far from the beach. Our friends also stayed at the resort but beware some condos are by the tower and its a long walk to the beach. I really appreciated the well equipped kitchen, there was everything needed to prepare meals. Security with wristbands ensures safety. I didnt mind the tight security it made me feel my children were safe at all times. The beach is literally steps away form the condo, as is the main swimming pool. We've spent many vacations at South Padre and truly feel this is the best resort on the island. Communication from Lourdes the owner is great. Our children loved the small pool and this was a big plus when we wanted to just relax at the condo. The grounds were amazing too. I would definitely recommend this property an look forward to future visits. Thank you Lourdes!

I highly recommend this condo, it was clean, spacious and the small pool was so fun for kids. The host responded almost immediately when i had a question and so helpful and nice.

This place was nice and spacious...the building did run a tad bit warm but other than that, no complaints. The board walk to the beach was under 5 mins.

Life Safety Hazard!

The location was perfect but the actual property was not. I don't normally post reviews and such but I would with this. The owner should fire her cleaning crew! Our first impression was nice but as we see the details we were not too impress. First, I'll begin with the floor. I know its close to the beach but the floor was really sticky and sands were everywhere from the living room, bathrooms, bedroom, on top of the dressers and drawers. Second, molds in both bathrooms! This are really easy to see and should not be overlook and can be easily remove. Molds again in most registers. Again this one is really easy to see and should always be part of regular maintenance. Third, the towels in both bathroons have hairs and pubic hairs. Really! Fourth, downstairs large room bedsheets have hairs as well. Again really! A second grader can see this thing and shouldn't be happening. Fifth, the water filter for the refrigerator needs to be replace. I bring my own coffee and I know how my coffee tastes like and my coffee didn't taste the way it should when I used the water from the fridge. I tried dringking from there and I have to spit it out! I checked the filter monitor and it was half yellow and half red. Again, this is a regular maintenance that should be done regularly, Sixth, the commode in the front toilete moves and its about to come off its base. Seventh, the washer and dryer needs attention. Its just filthy! Eight, the front door doesn't look on the inside. This is a first for me. I didn't feel secure at all knowing that someone who might know the master code for the SCHLAGE key pad could easily get into the unit. Ninth and tenth is a real concern for me. VRBO you should take a note of this. This is a real life safety concern for me and should be for future customers. Ninth, the exhaust vent for the dryer which can be seen from the large bedroom closet is made of PVC pipe. Plastic pipe for a dryer vent is a major fire hazard. When hot enough it could melt or worst cause a fire! This can lead to loss of life and I'm not exagerating. Tenth and final one are the two rooms downstairs. Before a room can be considered a bedroom it requires to have the following: an egress (doors and windows), closet space and minimum square footage. The two downstairs room can not be considered as a bedroom because the large room doesn't have a window and the small room doesn't have a window and a closet space. I ran out of space!!!

Paolo, you were a very complicated guest. The cleaning service has been changed in all the resort, there is a new cleaning company. The resort checks all condos so there are no hazard issues with this villa. This villa is being completely remodeled for 2023.

Trash location?

Instructions said to put out trash in the outdoor receptacle. Could not find one site wide. The numbers that were listed to contact management didn’t work. Big place. Has private small but deep and clean pool big enough to cool off in.

Exceeded Expectations

The villa was perfect for our family. We enjoyed the private pool and the easy access to the two resort pools and beach. Lourdes was great too; responded quickly to questions, even before booking. We’ll be back!

Perfect for family

First off, Lourdes is amazing and very responsive. The condo is great and the small pool was perfect for the kids. The beds were comfortable enough and the master lacks windows which was surprisingly nice as we were able to sleep in. Something we haven’t done in a. While. The beach is a short walk with a beautiful patio and lounge chairs to sit and watch the sun come up or enjoy an evening cocktail. My only wish is a view of the ocean from the condo. The seconded down stairs bedroom is small but great for a single or teen. I highly recommend the condo for families or couples. It’s a short beach walk to bar Louie, claytons or the wanna wanna. Do yourself a solid and book this place for the price, comfort and proximity to the beach. Thank you Lourdes for a wonderful peaceful stay!

Why I Chose the Bahia Mar, South Padre Island

Our holiday destination to South Padre Island was both convenient to all we did during our five day stay at Bahia Mar. The host's condo was spotlessly clean and tidy. This roomy condo has a small but adequate sized pool which our grandchildren used especially in the evenings. What I personally enjoyed was the security at Bahia Mar and the convenience to the lovely beach. Thank you Loudres for allowing us this opportunity and I look forward to returning.

4th of July fun

we had a great time, I purposefully looked for the private pool and was concerned the size would be too small but it worked out great . The beach access was easy and they had 2 large pools because they limit the number of cars it was easy parking. Only thing I do not remember in the description that there were stairs . It turned out perfect for privacy for the opther family that was with us. Overall it was great.

We had a great tome at this condo, small private pool was a plus with the kids

This is a older condo but has everything we needed, just being your brach towels and what you are going to eat. Very short walk to the beach through the property. Management had a very quick respond. I would definitely recommend it.

Pretty good

This place was much nicer than the photos! Private pool and walking distance to food, bars and public transportation! Some cons to the stay is that the Wifi was so spotty it wasn’t even used by most of the guest, we found a cockroach in one of the rooms and you have to take out all trash and do the dishes before you leave. You are also only supplied with one set of towels and trash bags for the entire week. Overall it was a mediocre stay.

We loved the condo! 3 bedroom, 3 bath. Great location! The pools and beach location were perfect. We really appreciated the private pool too. You could walk to bars/restaurants on the beach. Wanna Wanna was our favorite.

Private pool is key

So happy to have a private pool and patio, but then at the same time the resort larger pools and hot tub were really nice too! I believe this is one of the largest condos after seeing others. 2 very nice large rooms with king beds and ensuite. The 3rd room was very small as described and expected - a man can touch both side of the room with arms out. Kitchen was large and appreciatedthe ice maker. I would recommend and rent again!

Wonderful Spring Break Getaway

This place is just amazing, more room then we could of imagined. The property around the condo was amazing, the back patio was my wife favorite area. Wish we could of got it for next year. Highly recommend.

Fall break getaway

This was the perfect condo for me and me 3 young children. We always use fall break to come to the beach because the weather is perfect in October and there is less people. The small pool was perfect for us. The main pool was amazing, especially at night in the hot tub listening to the ocean waves. I felt very safe. My children had axes to the little play yard across from our condo and it was so easy to to park and unload/load all of our stuff as the parking is located directly in front of the condo! We had an issue with the pool not working for one full day, but the owner had someone out to fix it and clean it. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Livin the life on South Padres

This property was amazing and beautifully furnished! We so enjoyed the private patio area which protected us from those wild island winds. And having the space to spread out in the unit made our stay all the more enjoyable. Tropical storms avoided the area but had we been forced to "shelter in place" we had gorgeous surroundings to relax in.
