Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Recently renovated, early 1900s, cottage on 10 acres. Relax or explore the forest, fields, creek, and wildlife on the grounds. The Cottage is located minutes from Powderhorn Resort, where you can ski or mountain bike. A few more minutes and you are on top of the Grand Mesa (largest Mesa in the world), where it boasts more than 1000 lakes and many trails! 20 minutes in the other direction and you are in beautiful Palisade, CO.

Nice location for exploring the Grand Mesa. The house was tucked away from the road making it very quiet and private. Very clean. Well stocked. Nice patio with grill and plenty of seating. Loved the hot tub with amazing Mountain View’s and beautiful sunrises. Star gazing was fantastic.

What incredible place to go! It truly is 10 acres of property and it was awesome for our dog to have a place to stretch her legs. Place was amazing and well maintained.Also, the host was incredible about responding to a few questions we had and instructions on how to do check out

Our stay was very comfortable. Lovey home on a beautiful property. We enjoyed sitting outside on the comfortable patio furniture. Well equipped kitchen.

Stop in Grand Junction to get groceries before heading to the Mesa. Nice little country store but lacking a large assortment of goods.

It was a quick visit with an old friend and since August can be quite hot on the western slope it was so nice to have a cool place to visit. We barely went outside. Plenty of room for my dogs tho I do wish they had been better. My GPS fence was having trouble and I'm afraid they made friends with the neighbors. Maybe next time I should look for a fenced yard but that is surely my bad :)

The hot tub was hot enough and it was in a great location on the property to enjoy the scenic views that included 4 deer every nightKitchen had everything we needed to cook and more.This place is amazing, comfy, cozy, and just peaceful. To sit out on the swing and take a listen is a perfect time for self

House was great and views were beautiful. Will definitely book again next time we’re in the area. The only downside we were really looking forward to the hot tub but it was very green so we didn’t get in.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property! The home had every amenity we could need, making it both comfortable and relaxing.The setting was peaceful and private, yet still close enough to Grand Junction. We especially loved the amazing views and spacious kitchen. Not to mention the deer and other wildlife we saw1Our host was fantastic—communicative, welcoming, and attentive to details that made our stay special. You can tell they truly care about creating a great experience for their guests.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a getaway!

Beautiful home and property with very accessible location. About 15 minute drive to trail hike near the Mesa, which is great in the summer because it may be 90 in Palisade but you can hike in 50 weather at the Grand Mesa elevation. About a 25 minute drive into Palisade for Vineyard hopping. The large backyard is fully fenced if you are bringing dogs. We enjoyed drinking coffee there in the mornings and watching them play. There are lots of trees around the property if you want to bring camping chairs, and find shade, but we also brought our canopy and popped it up over the back porch for sunnier times of the day. In the evenings, don’t miss the sunsets… It’s spectacular! You might even see the neighborhood bear. He’s cute. A few notes if you are traveling with dogs. There is a lot of foxtail grass/seeds throughout the property. Be sure to check in between their toes and ears at the end of the day. Our dogs do not have the type of fur that mats, but if you have those types of furry friends, you might want to shave them before you come, or the foxtail seeds will stick to them. Also, while there is a small stream/creek running through the property, we did not use it because the grass is pretty high all around it and you have to walk downhill a ways to access it. There is a small wooden bridge you can stand on over the water which is pret. We had thought we might let our dogs swim but it just wasn’t set up for that. But they had plenty of fun swimming at all the Mesa lakes!

This place is a gem. If you plan to visit Grand Junction or Palisade don’t let the distance from Mesa sway you. The host is has thoughtfully stocked with premium bedding and bath items. Great back yard. Great kitchen with anything you might need. Will definitely recommend and plan to return.
