Enjoy fresh beach-cottage style in the best location in Carlsbad! 3021 Ocean Street is a 2 story beachfront property that sits at the northern end of Carlsbad State Beach with unobstructed ocean views and direct access to the sand and easy walking distance to dozens of shops and restaurants in Carlsbad Village. The house also sits about a block and a half from the public boardwalk that runs along the coast, where you can walk/run with expansive ocean views. The property can be rented weekly as a 4 bedroom / 4 bath home or as two individual 2 bedroom / 2 bath units. The prices listed here are for the downstairs unit. (The 4 bedroom 4 bath house is listed at #222535). Both units have private deck space and BBQs; this unit has access to the hot tub.

Change of Scenery

I was on a work trip and decided at the last minute to extend my stay. It was absolutely a great decision! The house was a perfect size and ideal location. The outdoor space was wonderful. It was exactly what I was looking for to enjoy a chill week with an amazing, picturesque backdrop.

Stunning on the beach!

Clean lovely property on the beach! Ocean views throughout the home. The waves lull you to sleep. We watched a pod of dolphins swim by we also saw a whale from the front porch!! All white and beachy decor. The kitchen was well enough equipped for eating at home. It was also walking distance to Downtown Carlsbad amenities. Vikki was easy to communicate with. I would love to stay here again. It was hard to leave!

Review

I enjoyed my stay in Carlsbad, Ca. The 2br downstairs unit was in a great location, walkable to restaurants and shops, very clean and spacious. Vicki was very responsive to any questions that I had and was very gracious in letting me use the garage(which was for the upper unit) free of charge, as no one had rented the upper unit. I would definitely return and recommend staying here! The only thing I would recommend is having more condiments available in the kitchen.

I am unclear as to what condiments my renter would have liked. She did not make a request to me for them. We do not leave any food items in the kitchen for health reasons but do try to accommodate guest requests.

Perfect!

Just left from a wonderful week-long vacation in this lovely rental home. We rented the downstairs unit and it was absolutely perfect for me, my husband and my 2 small children. Breathtaking views from the balcony and very easy beach access. I was lulled to sleep each night by the sound of the ocean. Many great restaurants within walking distance or a short drive. During the week, we went to Legoland 3 times, as it was an easy 10min drive. The owner was very responsive and I was very pleased with her commitment to ensuring that we had an enjoyable stay. She even provided a portable crib and toddler booster seat, which were indispensable. I would highly recommended this property (and I am very picky) to anyone looking for a quality beachfront vacation rental!

Fantastic in Carlsbad!

This place is the best in Carlsbad! A friend and I stayed in the lower level for a week and could not have been happier with the accommodations. It was comfortable, clean, cheery and had everything we needed for a fantastic stay. The hot tub and the 3 decks allow lots of choices for hanging around outside, not to mention that you're right on the beach. The sound of the waves crashing 24 hours a day is just divine. Even with all of the windows closed, you can still hear the soothing sounds of the waves. You can walk a block or two to anything you need, restaurants, bars, shopping, groceries, etc. I strongly recommend this rental, and hope to go back with my grown children and rent the entire house for a fantastic vacation.

Amazing House

We rented the bottom floor of the two story house and it was perfect for my family. Everything we needed was available to us. This house is very clean right and on the beach. I highly recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in Carlsbad.

Clean, Beautiful Home, Amazing View...We felt so special!

When we walked in we all said "WOW"!! The home was so nice and clean and even better than the pictures. We were right on the beach and it was so nice to just walk down the steps and be wading in the ocean! The four of us (3 adults and one child) rented the top floor only of the 2-story house and we had more than enough room for all of us. The location in Carlsbad was so nice, we walked to all kinds of shops, restaurants, and we were only a five minute drive away from LEGOLAND. The owner was so helpful and so nice and answered a few questions we had when I called her phone number. I would highly recommend this property. We have stayed in many places and this far exceeded our expectations and was so inviting and so clean! We absolutely loved our stay there and will stay again in the future!! Thank you!!
