Ultimate Beach House for Your Next Vacay~50 feet from the Beach!!

Our house is beachfront in Carlsbad village with beautiful views of the waves from the large balcony on the top floor. Spacious open style living area with new hardwood flooring, modern kitchen, dining room, family room, and 2 large Master bedrooms with newly renovated bathrooms, each with a super comfy king size bed. A third "add-on" bedroom is accessed through the upstairs Master bedroom, but does have its own doors for privacy, windows for natural light, and a trundle bed with two twin mattresses. One of the main bedrooms also has a queen sleeper sofa and a work area (desk and chair) with lots of natural light. 5-burner BBQ in our private backyard. The house is only a few minutes walk (a few blocks) to the adorable Carlsbad Village. We have 5 adult bikes, 1 child size bike, plus boogie boards, surf boards, chairs, umbrella, and toys - everything you need for a fun day at the beach. We have a 2-car garage (doesn’t fit a Suburban, but we have space in the driveway for a large car). Bathrooms are walk-in showers (no tubs) and were remodeled in Jan. 2025. Fully stocked with towels and bath products. Kitchen is clean and fully stocked with all kitchen necessities provided for your cooking ease. Three 55-inch smart flat screen TVs. The private backyard is fully enclosed for extra space to relax, cook on the BBQ, or let kids run around safely. Private front door and garage door entrances ensure social distancing safety. The view of the ocean is priceless! Our house is a great choice for your next vacation and we look forward to hosting you!

This house was incredible!! We loved every minute of our weekend! The house has EVERYTHING you need for a great time! Beach toys and the kitchen is so well appointed! Comfy beds, soft linens and lots of extra blankets. We highly recommend staying and we look forward to coming back again.

Everything about this house was lovely. Our family had an ocean front view and lots of room for meals and socializing. It was a wonderful location. Very walkable.

This is a great house! The location couldn't be better, such easy walking to the Village and the beach is just across the street. The views of the ocean and sunset are wonderful. The house is well equipped including the kitchen. Mike was so easy to communicate with and responsive. I highly recommend this place!

We had a wonderful stay at this home. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need and we slept the best we’ve ever slept at a vacation rental! A little bummed about the construction right in front but that didn’t ruin our trip and we know these things happen and are necessary for upkeep in the area. We saw lots of marine life while enjoying our coffee on the patio. That was definitely my favorite spot. Beautiful space!

This was easily one of the best stays we've had. The place was spotless from the moment we walked in, and it had absolutely everything we needed, we didn't have to worry about a thing. The location was perfect too, walking distance to everything Carlsbad has to offer.What really set this apart was the host. Communication was quick, responsive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. You can tell they take pride in the experience they provide, and it shows in every detail.We'll definitely be back. If you're looking for a place in Carlsbad, don't hesitate to check this out.

We had a perfect stay from every perspective. The home was immaculate, thoughtfully and thoroughly outfitted; the amazing location was across the road from the wonderful, clean, walkable beach, and also a few minutes' walk from the charming downtown. Our host Mike responded to our questions promptly. We would return in a heartbeat!

Perfect location

We loved staying at this property. Right across from the beach and a short walk to all the restaurants and shops. The house had everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely stay here again if we vacation in Carlsbad again.

Family beach vacation

This was a lovely property with plenty of space for our whole family. Perfect walking distance to the beach as well as some restaurants. We’d love to stay here again!

The Hess Beach House is a wonderful place to stay. (Our stay was 1 week.) The view of the Pacific Ocean is spectacular from the deck. Watch surfers from morning to night, and catch a beautiful sunset. The house is only a few steps from a beautiful beach. The house is stocked with everythng needed for the beach - chairs, boogie board, surf board, wagon, etc. There are over 5 bikes to go for a ride on the bike path right in front of the house. The quaint Carlsbad downtown area is a short walk away. The host was extremely responsive to all my messages. Finally, the interior of the house was very accomodating for 4 adults. We really liked this rental; I highly recommend it for anyone wanting a beachfront poperty in Southern California.

Perfect Getaway!

What a wonderful property that is well maintained and thoughtful in all aspects making you feel home away from home! The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen stocked with everything you need. The location is unbeatable as well; a short walk to beach.

Perfect beach getaway!

Great location and beach rental for our family! Loved sitting on the deck overlooking the ocean, especially for sunset. We had our teenage daughters and their friends here before heading off to college, it was perfect for us all!
