Between the Shores--Just a few steps away from ocean or sound

Come enjoy the south end of Wrightsville Beach. Located in the middle of the block dividing the ocean and the sound, our condo offers wonderful access to both. A sidewalk leads the way! The comfortable floor plan offers a bath for each bedroom. One bedroom is located on the main living level, and the other two are at opposite ends of the upstairs hallway. The condo offers two decks-one off of the den and the second off of the master bedroom, plenty of off street parking, and an outdoor shower. If you are interested in a vacation rental, I would love the opportunity to work with you and appreciate your interest. Weekly rentals during the summer months run Sunday-Sunday. Partial week rentals are considered when dates requested fall within one rental week.

Southern Hospitality at the Beach

Sharon was very responsive and promptly answered all my questions before and during the stay. This property is perfectly placed just steps from the beach. Loved our visit and hope to stay again someday.

Great location and home is beautiful

We love being on the south end of the island. This location was perfect. Walking distance to public access to beach and sound. House had everything we needed including laundry. Modern, updated and well kept. Enjoyed our stay.

Sunsets and beaches

Place was clean, plenty of space for 6 and close to the beach. If you haven’t already been to Wrightsville beach like us you have to find parking. This was close to the beach access and can catch sunset off the balcony. I can’t wait to return loved it.

A Best Kept Secret

Family and I loved the condo it was comfy and clean, and conveniently located in walking distance to eateries and the beach. The fact that it is so close to the bay is an added plus. The condo has a bedroom and walk-in shower on the first floor which I love for anyone who cannot walk up additional stairs. Thank You.

Great stay in South End

We had a great visit to Wrightsville Beach this past weekend! The location of this rental is great and there was plenty of space for our family. Wrightsville Beach is always beautiful - look forward to coming back again soon!

Great property. Super short walk to beach, South End coffee shop and Oceanic. Big bedrooms with private baths. Lots of parking. Sharon was a great host!

Beautiful home, wonderful location!

We rented this vacation home for a family beach trip. The house was beautiful and was stocked with everything we needed. The owner was extremely kind and helpful. We would definitely recommend this property and hope to rent it again in the future!

Well Kept and Simple Condo

Easy access to the beach and inter coastal. Some finishes like the floors and kitchen have been recently updated. New looking furniture gives the place a clean and well kept feel. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Wrightsville Beach townhouse

This is a very nice property. Spacious and clean rooms. Right next to coffee shop, The Oceanic and in between sound and ocean. You can see the sound from top deck and a snippet of ocean. Sharon is an attentive host. Easy to reach. Can’t wait to visit again next summer.

Excellent rental property

We had a wonderful stay at Between the Shores. The location was great, easy access to the beach and sound, a couple food/coffee options close by. More options a little over a mile away. The duplex was spacious and clean, and the host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Plenty of parking and a decent size deck to enjoy, even during a rain storm. I would return to this property.

Great location but come prepared!

House is in a great location with quick walking distance to the beach and intercoastal. However, the house does not come with towels, sheets, or beach chairs. We did not realize until the day before and had to pay for sheets, so make sure you plan ahead, otherwise really enjoyed our time there, plenty of space for everyone!

Great Overall Beach Stay

Great location less than a block from the beach and close to the Oceanic Pier- which was great for strolling on, and enjoying the shade underneath. Also not far from the wildlife preserve at the far South end of the island- a great place to have calm beach play on the western side of the island for our little ones. The house was spacious as were the bedrooms, the kitchen was very well appointed for supplies and there is a convenient outdoor shower with cold & hot water! A few things to consider: you need to bring your own linens or rent them at an additional charge; there is no dining table, just a spacious counter top bar; the bathtub faucet doesn't work to be able to stop the shower and use as a tub only; the master King bed was a bit too soft for our preference, but fine for a short vacation; the entry was keyed with a lock box- we prefer code entries to not have to worry about keeping track of physical keys. The location was perfect for our needs and we would stay again to enjoy this beautiful beach!

À la carte beach house

If you’re looking for a house with very few amenities this is it. My children and I vacation to Wrightsville every year. Our previous rentals have plenty amenities. Kayaks, beach towels, chairs, beach Wheelbarrels to carry all our stuff to the beach. All the necessities we need for a great beach vacation. This house provided zero. There was only one large towel per bathroom. No spices or oils to cook with. Only salt and pepper and the salt was empty. No beach towels, no chairs, the outdoor shower didn’t work upon arrival and didn’t have any privacy. Just a rusted spout hanging out of the wall. No soap tray or hanger to hang wet clothing. In fact the shower looked out to a construction zone carport filled with junk. The blinds in the bathroom broke after using them once. Only one extra roll of toilet paper was provided. The toilet seat cracked my son sat on it. No laundry detergent to wash the very few towels. The house had zero southern beach charm. No rocking chairs, no Hamic’s, no swings. My family and I come a long distance to have the complete Wrightsville beach experience. We did NOT have it with this house. Very disappointed. I found the owner to be slightly defensive and over explained things that might not of worked well like the blinds. I’ve never experienced a beach vacation without any beach amenities. My kids and I were very much looking forward to an escape from these uncertain times. My sons favorite thing to do is to take long showers outside. He felt uncomfortable and not safe with all the junk in the carport and construction workers watching him.

We Came Back For More!

We stayed here last year and were so impressed that we came back. The location is just amazing, the house is wonderfully appointed, the parking is super easy, and we had plenty of space for ourselves and our kids. Everything you need is either right out the door (beach, surf shop, coffee shop, lovely restaurant, fishing pier) or just a short stroll (ice cream, toys, t-shirts, pizza, etc.). And did we mention that Sharon is wonderful? Love it and can't wait to come back!

Perfect getaway

Sharon was delightful to work with. Home is just as advertised. Very clean and uncluttered! Kitchen well-equipped. I’m used to staying ON the beach, but this was very, very convenient. We usually look for a home w/ a dining table because we like playing board games & having family meals. In this home, the living room furniture was comfortable & could be used for games & meals.

It was always a dream of ours to have a place at Wrightsville. My husband's family is from this area and tells great stories of the trolley, being lifeguards, and dances at the Lumina. This condo was a perfect choice for our family of four and friends. Once our kids left the nest for academic pursuits, their schedules no longer permitted the leisure summers at the beach so we decided to place our 'home' on the rental market so that others could enjoy it as well. Our home and business are minutes away in Wilmington. However, there is nothing like the sound and feel of driving over the bridge to Wrightsville. We'll take island time any time!
