Very clean farmhouse with gazebo, golf cart, bicycles and pond with fish plus walking trails.Perfect weekend getaway for rest & relaxation….just what we needed.

This cozy historic farm house was very clean and beautifully decorated. It was quiet and had great outdoor spaces to enjoy. We wish we had been able to stay more than one night.

Storybook Farmhouse is an excellent VRBO destination. The hosts provided all the "extras" that made our anniversary trip memorable. The farmhouse was clean and had all the amenities for a comfortable stay. It is a unique destination that embraces the lifestyle of the 1940's. The hosts made check-in and check-out seamless. Without hesitation, we recommend this VRBO destination.

Absolutely 5. It's very clean and you lack for nothing!! Lesa and Greg are excellent hosts and helped us with any questions. You are missing a wonderful experience if you miss this property. Just remember this is an old farmhouse so don't be surprised if the flooring is a little off or it looks old on the outside, it's just as advertised. Don't miss out on the wonderful place to stay. If your grandma lived on an old farm, you will appreciate Songbird! We look forward to our next stay!!

My grandparents built it during World War II and it was our first home as well as our daughter's first home. Searching the antique shops for the vintage items has been a lot of fun. We enjoyed our stay at Songbird Story so much! Lesa and Greg were great hosts, and they go out of their way to welcome guests in many small ways! The house was charming and comfortable, and we enjoyed having breakfast in the gazebo. It was like going back in time to Grandma's house but with air conditioning and running water! We drove to several parks in the area over our 3 days and hiked to 6 waterfalls. So there is definitely lots of nature to explore in the area. We would come back!

It was a fabulous day with lots of extras. We decided to extend our stay one night and the host was extremely accommodating went way out of their way to make it possible. Like everything else at this location the hosts have went above and beyond to make it a great stay for anyone that will be there. Thanks again, and everyone over there be blessed.

The Songbird is a beautiful property and was very accommodating. Very clean inside and out. All the amenities you will need for a stay. The hosts thought of everything from Alexa entrance music to snacks. Feed the pond fish, feed the donkeys, or sit in the tower to overlook the farm and watch the sunset. There is something for everyone. The property is in a nice and quiet country setting with DGS and Bernies Place Restaurant nearby to meet personal needs and food.

We really enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse. The property was even better than the listing described. The house was extremely clean and well organized. There was a house book that Charlie listed the expectations and amenities as well as information on grocery stores, restaurants and attractions. We were welcomed with a complimentary snack basket and coffee bar. The hosts really thought of all the little details to make our stay comfortable. One of our favorite things was to eat breakfast in the gazebo and enjoy the birds and peaceful atmosphere before setting out to explore for the day. If we are ever in the area again we will certainly book another stay at the farmhouse!

This is the sweetest place to stay. It is clean and Greg and Lesa have provided what you need for a wonderful stay. Lesa decorated Songbird Farm and its fabulous. It takes you back in time when your mema and papa lived on the farm and you still have all the things you need to be comfortable. It's well worth the money. So nice to have a place to relax and enjoy and not deal with hotels. Take time to stay and enjoy the songbirds and the gazebo. We loved it and will stay again! Thanks for the memories!!
